Wow this sounds so damn good! This would've been a for sure hit!! X has so many amazing songs! I'm blown away by how any of these songs didn't make the cut
To be fair "X" was brimming with great songs. I'm guessing one choice may have been to do a double album but clearly the choice was to cut some and this was cut.
Many of these unreleased tracks are way better than a couple that were included. Would’ve loved a second disc deluxe version. This should’ve been a single! Totally a missed hit opportunity
It’s kind of sad because judging on the photoshoot for X, it looks like the sound Kylie wanted originally to go for is for sounds like this but Parlophone must of been like ‘nope’ Not saying the album we got was bad tho I mean the album still gave us hits to bop to but it’s just sad that most of these unreleased tracks were left out the album 🥺 it’s just songs like this fitted the albums aesthetic perfectly
Parlophone really dropped the ball. So many songs from this era would’ve been massive worldwide hits like Sexual Gold, Lose Control, Cherry Bomb, In The Mood For Love, Rippin’ Up The Disco, and the list just goes on!! I hope one day she can release a compilation album of these awesome gems!
I think it's because of how body language was experimental pop. Although one of her best compared to fever it was a low seller and they must have wanted her to play it safe. It's a shame but at least we can hear all these tracks here
