- I LOVE this new Transforming SSJ Vegeta, but we already have so many from Z, why not give us one from Dragon Ball Super Broly? Would have loved a new Super Saiyan God one, but honestly even his SSJ counterpart has enough in that movie for a full unit. Anyway, I just felt talking about that while also diving back into Dokkan Battle with DiddySauce & Slaybix in this Dokkan Trio Summon Battle!

While we do need a new DBS Vegeta, we did not a have a good animation representation of Vegeta from the first time he went super saiyan so the new Dokkanfest was greatly needed
(and still his animations are pretty mid)

For me I believe dokkan peaked around 2021 to 2022 and early 2023 for animations. Even some 2020 units look fantastic.
The TUR Cooler that completely changed the game for animations still holds up too. Some newer stuff feels more like watching a cutscene than having your unit attack. There was a good balance back then.
I really didn't know which game you were talking about when you said DBS Broly's movie is underutilized till you showed it cuz it ACTUALLY IS in both games...
Definitely moreso Dokkan than Legends.

Just wanted to add to the Dragon ball zoomers discussion from earlier, I am gen Z and I did get into dragon ball while super was airing the future trunks arc but I experienced Z through xenoverse 1 and abridged, then I went back and watched Kai to avoid filler. I'm saying all this because MAN people have to be reaaaal dumb or uneducated on dragon ball to not recognize references to iconic moments like Vegeta's first big bang

The PB LR doesn't count since it's pre-good animations era, period. And until this new Vegeta, the base Vegeta name was just mia in the game and as far as SSJ Vegetas go, we had just 1 DFE SSJ Vegeta in 9 years and it's the transforming Vegeta whose whole purpose is to go through all the forms...
So whilst, yes. The Broly movie etc. IS underrepresented, so was a great DFE base/SSJ Vegeta spot :)

Yeah, if I'm being honest, I've been getting shafted on both the Dokkan Battle and Legends.
On Legends, when I was trying to summon for the new Legends Limited Baby 2, I used 61,000 Chrono Crystals and didn't get any of the new characters.
And it's been over a year since I've gotten any new character on any new banner for Dohkon Battle.
So I have gotten
heavily shafted in both mobile games for a while 😂😅

Hopefully next ani, they can do DBS Broly Goku and Vegeta units that go base-ssb imo. I'd love to have a fun multi transformation unit again and maybe both units side by side in blue can do a Dual Super which is Galick Kamehameha.
You gotta be insane to think this is just another super saiyan vegeta, this the first premium unit of this moment in the game. It's insane to think we didn't have Vegeta's first time going SSJ animated in this game.

Vegito is getting INSANELY underrated now for some reason. There are some people who genuinely think that Vegito lost to Buuhan, when he wanted to get absorbed to save his friends and family from being absorbed. He was only “toying” with Buuhan to force him into the only option he had left, which was to absorb Vegito because he couldn’t beat him.
And let’s be real with the Zamasu fight here. Vegito didn’t win. I’m not gonna lie. But that doesn’t mean that Gogeta COULD have, it just means that Zamasu was an unbeatable villain and because of that, Trunks’ timeline, the original timeline, got completely erased by the strongest character known in the show. Vegito was given a bad hand in the Zamasu fight, and he was STILL slapping him around. The only reason he ”lost” is because he defused super early.
And if people wanna trash on my favorite fusion because they’re trying to make theirs the “definitive better one” or whatever the goal is with this, then lemme get in on it too. If you wanna claim that Vegito is toying around with his fights, then what do you call ALL of the fight with Broly? And I’m not gonna bring up GT, because it’s not canon. But I’m also not gonna bring up Fusion Reborn because it’s not canon. You can’t have your cake and eat it too. Anyways, Gogeta wasn’t serious with Broly until he went blue. Which means, the majority of the fight, Gogeta wasn’t taking it seriously. And he only started to take it seriously AFTER A HOLE IN DIMENSIONS GOT RIPPED OPEN. And Vegito plays around too much? He at least used the Final Kamehameha right away AND was in blue right from the start. But Gogeta on the other hand, waited before he used ANY transformation, and he went straight for his WEAKEST one whenever he did transform at first. And there’s a difference between having fun with your fights and not taking them seriously. And actions speak louder than words. Vegito may talk a lot and get under his opponents skin, but he’s at least either doing his best, or leagues above his enemy regardless of the form.
And let me just clear the air right now, if anyone has even read all of this, I don’t really believe all of this negative stuff about Gogeta. I’m just making a point. You can cherry pick stuff all day long just to make your narrative seem believable but that doesn’t make it true. I just want justice for my boy. I like Gogeta, but Vegito is my guy. And idk why so many people have to hate on Vegito just to make Gogeta seem better. Is it an affirmation thing? To make themselves think “oh Vegito is so bad he can’t even beat his enemies. I sure am glad my favorite is Gogeta hahaha” or something like that?

How would they implement a pvp if it becomes based on how many hp you have since they will be stronger than someone else without the dupes. It will become p2w for pvp' unless they make the character the same with the hp.
if dokkan adds pvp it will become even more pay to win than legends, unless they arbitrarily lock you to one specific team with an specific build for both players.

Man the only reason I think there is some merit to Kai is i think that's peak Schemmel as Goku I don't think there is a time when he's doing Goku's voice that's better than his performance as Goku especially on Namek.
