Matt!!!! That was a great upload and thanx for taking the time to look over the car and the story behind it. You are one of a kind!👍👊 and love the "quaking" bloopers!!!!!💪💪💪💪💪
Joe, it was really my pleasure! I loved hearing the full story behind the car and it looks even more amazing in person. Also always great having a few drinks with you buddy.
Yes Joe. Matt did you and your wife proper with the interview and review on your GT. You and your wife did an excellent job. I love the Tuxedo paint scheme. That interior is also immaculate. I remember seeing you in one of Gearhead's previous videos. I too love the quaking bloopers with the sneaky music. LOL
Another story car for you-- The red LX on the other side of Carolina blue is my car. It was my best friend’s and we met in college because we both had red LX’s in the same apartment complex at UGA. We became best friends after that and pretty much hung out every day. I sold my LX a long time ago, and then he passed away from cancer two years ago at age 43. I bought the car from his wife to “keep it in the family,” and have pretty much left it how he had it... with some minor upgrades to keep it running (3G alt, koni yellows, etc). Still runs great and I think of him every time I drive it... vortech, TFS TW heads, custom lunati cam, Baer brakes, caster camber plates, every brace imaginable, flowmaster 40s w/ turn downs AND tail pipes! :)
Great job Matt, Joe & his wife are really nice folks, love the story behind the car, very clean, nice looking fox, sounds amazing, they did a great job on the 89. Thanks for sharing.
Great job as usual on this one Matt. What a good looking tribute car. You and Joe are on to something. I need to put my wife and daughter to work on my car projects. LOL. I wish I could show you our "new to us" car that I flew down to Arlington, Texas and drove back on Memorial Day. It's a GM, so forgive me. An '09 Pontiac G8 GT with only 47K miles on her. What a beauty. I could of probably finally bought a good, clean Foxbody for what I paid, but the car is awesome!
Always good to put them to work errr I mean let them help out LOL. Not worries man, my Dad was really into GM actually hah hah. Congrats on the new purchase buddy!
I would never drop my Mustang. Stock look cannot be beat. That is what made these cars famous. Not moded out freak shows. Don't believe me? Park one of those Frankensteins next to mine at a car show and count how many ignore it and go straight to mine.
Wow I didn't know what to do about 6 foxbody stang's .1979 indyappolis ,1982 gt tee top ,1984 svo,1984 gt,1993gt sunroof,1999 gt 4.6 manual trans . All but one is automatic trans.
Ripping on the previous owners work never earns any points with me. Especially when the new owner can't even do his own paint work. Keep them videos coming Matt, love your channel.
