In case anyone was wondering why the refrain was played three times, instead of moving off on the first one as usual, the first two were for the two years that they missed and the third was to commemorate people lost to covid.
Wow I don't think we have anything like this in America . When I was a kid in Catholic school we would have May procession which was for the May Queen ... they would have a statue of the Blessed Virgin and a rather somber ceremony and the kids would be dressed up in suits and dresses and one girl would be chosen to be the May Queen and she would be the one to put a wreath of flowers up on top of Mary's head . Your family would attend if they all could then you would have a party with them and neighbors or go out for a meal to a nice restaurant .
