I have a RP Uta deck but I use more blockers like shiki and both Guilds you can get insane hand sizes. If you wanted more negative power cards you could also use the Carina blocker and the 7 cost Ain
king is better. kid and killer has only 5k basenso hes a easy target in opponents turn. uta ramps fast, in her deck king is better first cuz hes 7c and secondnbecause he got 8k base. kid & killer easily gets destroyed just by tapping 7c newgate withour further investment

if your opponent swings 5 at you and you still have queen up, you can just block for free. dont forget looking at your board before you waste counters
