      Thanks for commenting Gumnan, most people, my wife included tell me that I’m waffling or talking rubbish, at seventy two years old I really don’t give a monkeys. That’s how I “rock” and I don’t intend to change. Life is far too short and I’m running out of time.

Again thanks for the video!

      How you going to sell a hole?

    That CO2 end cap is a pain in the arse... doing it up is all fine and dandy... getting it undone again requires pliers on my rifle, highly considering cutting the stock a bit and adding a pinned drop block for bulk tanks.
    Also do you find the bolt pops open on its own? Havnt been able to find any information regarding the issue, I find I have to hold the bolt closed manually with either my index finger or left hand.

      Hi, thanks for commenting, the fact that you say it’s alright fitting the cap, tells me that the seal is the correct size. I always lubricate mine sparingly.
      The only time I’ve had a tight cap is when there is still air in the tube. I use o rings that are from Lidl or Aldi in a multi pack and they seal perfectly. They are always swollen on removal where they’ve blown out to seal the tube. After a few hours they return to original size and will go back in the gun.
      As for the bolt problem, has a different bolt been fitted? stopping it locking into its slot. See my video re the same problem on the little CP2.

      @@johnbuckland9820 naw stock bolt, seems like when the bolt is closed theres some spring tension wanting to pop it back open. As for the seal i use off the shelf rubber seals for the CO2 cap lubed up with air tool oil, the cap goes on easy but when removing the cap i gotta break it free with pliars and then i can unscrew it by hand. This is the case with the gun purged of air even.

      In that case I would strip the bolt right out of the gun and look for something fouling the pellet probe and bolt, also inspect the probe seal condition and look for lead fragments etc.
      Still thinking about the cap being tight. !

      @@YeeThirty how tight do you get it ? you may be tightening too hard mine is fine to remove when purged all the way (Impossible if there is still air in it tho) I screw it until tight + a bit more if I didnt hear it pierce the co2 than I unscrew it 1/4 turn like they say in they manual (mine is quite new tho) working perfect yet..alot of people (including me sometimes even tho I know it) want to get things with seals as tight as they can but all it does is crushing them causing eventual leaks (Sometimes I remove some co2 cartridges from pistols (gotta be somewhat quickly screwed in) and I dissapoint myself struggling to unscrew them since all it does is hurting the gun)

    Hi VBI . Please to drill the 6mm hole, is it 75mm center, or (75mm + 3mm ) center ? I ask because another video I saw seems to show the back of the hole at 75mm... Please tell us. thanks

      To the centre. It’s not that critical my friend either will do.

    im getting thisd rifle soon, would you recommend it?

    • @johnbuckland9820
      @johnbuckland9820  3 роки тому +1

      It is what it is pal, a cheap, fun, bolt action plinker. I would recommend it for teaching young’uns the safe way to handle bolt action rifles and not really for pin point accuracy.

    Hey ..I like u.I'm 52 and also love making things easier. Somehow I missed just what u put in the gun that u use the screwdriver to turn? At first I thought u were just pushing the screwdriver into the valve pin but that's not the case. I guess I could drill a hole just behind the pin.....plz get back to me with the answer

    • @johnbuckland9820
      @johnbuckland9820  3 роки тому

      David, if the hole is drilled exactly as shown and at three inches from the back of the tube, not the end cap, then the screwdriver will, when turned open the valve. It moves the hammer onto the valve pin.
      Thanks for commenting and keep shooting safely.

    Enjoy video, but it is next to impossible to hear you even with the volume turned all the way up. The vent hole is what I really am interested in.

    Hola, mi QB78 me da problemas a la hora de cambiar las bombonas de co2. El tapón del deposito se queda atascado y muy duro. Tengo que utilizar unos alicates para desenroscarlo.
    Por que crees que puede ser ? tienes algún truco ??? Nunca lo aprieto demasiado pero se queda atascado.
    un saludo

      Es un problema muy común en este modelo. Yo uso lubricante minimamente de silicona en las roscas. Esto ayuda un poco
