Best Local Pizza in Vegas

- If you know me even a little, you will know Pizza is my favorite food in the world. Let me show you 4 different pizza spots that are off the Las Vegas Strip that are so worth visiting.
Unlike the East Coast or New York, Las Vegas is filled with many chain pizza restaurants and not as many Mom n' Pop spots. But most of those Mom n' Pop Pizza places in Las Vegas are amazing. Even though this video only shows 4 locations, there are so many more amazing pizza joints though out the city. To be fair in this review, I made sure every pizza was just a cheese pizza, no other toppings to change the flavor, except for one but you have to watch the video... I'll give you a hint, it comes from bees. But there were different styles of pizza that I chose from. The only one I didn't choose from was the Chicago Style pizza, but maybe in the next pizza video! Below are the locations I went to, but watch the video to see who made it to number 1.

Verrazano Pizza looks like it's stuck in 1983 and I love it. Whenever we order to take home, this is our go to joint since it's close to home.
I have never had a bad pizza from settebello. It's one of one of my favorite restaurants here in Vegas (and not just for pizza but overall). Will always thanks my chef that I worked for at the time for taking us back in 2006.

Damn! Love that cheese crust at Pizza Rock! Nice to see some different favorites on here than some other pizza review videos! I like the thick crust for that home baked bread taste in the center of the crust, but I like thin crust because you can eat more toppings! Another great video!

The wife of the owner (Naomi) is a friend of mine and a great singer (you should go there on a weekend when her jazz group is there!), and the owner Gio is not only a great chef, but also a very good guy. I try to make it in there when I am in Las Vegas. Best pizza I've ever had!
4 pizzas no meat. That's how I eat em. Evel's on Fremont is cool if u like a good dive bar. My gf fell in love with the crust

If ever In LA, go to a place called LaMonica on Gayley Street. That's the best pizza I ever had. I'm from Texas and only been to LA once and it was 30 years ago and still remember it. The business is still there!!!!

That grandma pizza at Good Pie looked like a goddamn masterpiece. I can make a damn good pizza at home, but I don't know if I'll ever make one that looks that amazing.

@@NormaGeli Though I'm from Detroit, MI; I prefer either the Chicago-Style Deep Dish or NY-Style. I've always been a "Round" type of guy RE: Pizza. U definitely must try Metro Pizza (4: locations in the LV area; especially the 1 in Henderson on Horizon Ridge & Stephanie). Can't get much more authenticthsn Metro Pizza (despite no Detroit-Style Pizza there).
In Vegas this weekend gonna try them pizzas for sure.... And brews

Heard a lot about Pizza Rock, still never been.
lol I worked at Settebello in Pasadena before! This is their Pizza crust recipe. Water, small amount of Salt, Yeast, 00 Italian Flour. Thats it. Oh adding on, you cant bake these thin crusts at home because your convetional oven is not hot enough to cook these pizzas with a high water to flour ratio. It has to be cooked in an open gas or wood burning flame oven.
Now i want a pizza oven!

Pizza is my favorite! I gotta say Evel is my favorite out there along with Chicago on Durango, right next to PTs. You have quite an inner glow about you. Glad they're letting you dine in there. Btw if you like asian food, try Hwaro on the strip. Its my family's restaurant

Thank you for your videos you give a lotta good info. About 3 months ago I was planning on taking my wife and my son to Anchorage Alaska. But with the increased travel restrictions Due to COViD-19 it was going to become a pain in the ass. My wife asked if we could go to Vegas instead since and now we’re going in mid-August. We’re staying at the Venetian for 9 nights and your videos have brought up a lot of restaurants we’ve never been to before. Thank you -Joey

My wife and I ate at Evel Pies and it was really good. Plus, we enjoyed the classic movies clips that run non stop! They have rattlesnake meat for their pizza, who does that!

One more thing is the bread Monzu is excellent. They sell it for $7 a loaf. It's like a mild sourdough

I always spend a lot of time in Mandalay Bay and they have a place called Slice of Vegas in the shopping mall. I like their pizza a lot. Next time I'm downtown I'll try Pizza Rock.

Every time I think you are about to let me down, you name my favorite spot, then show me a place I never knew about. I have been to Red Rock Running Company 100 times, and never noticed the pizza joint next door. On my list now for sure.

I really liked Five 50 Pizza in Aria, tremendous beer selection too. It was right in the sports book so you can grab a slice quick and get back to your seat to watch the game, but I heard the chef is out and Aria replaced it with generic casino pizza.
I heard that too, but hopefully that new place will be good too
Brooklyn’s Best pizza off ft apache and hacienda definitely tops all of these places. it’s a must try.
