Sorry for no sound or anything, this video is just to demonstrate this new feature in Ray1Map. Tile editing is also possible, but I didn't show it here.
Hey, so I just wanted to find a video by you somewhat related to this. -- I recently discovered through an IGN article interview that the 2D Rayman 2 was shown at E3 1996. I think I searched something and found a Ubi Soft E3 1996 disc dumped onto the Internet Archive. I didn't look at the files at first, but it was an artwork disc. I noticed the pictures of Rayman II were on RayWiki and you uploaded them around the time it was dumped onto the Internet Archive. Is this where you got the pictures from? Also, regarding it being shown at E3 1996, I looked at a few videos with stuff from E3 1996, and I eventually found something on Rayman II in one of them, but it was a short thing and didn't really have anything new, I don't think.
Hi! Yep, that's where I got the images from. I think I've seen some of those videos too, and yeah they don't show much. I believe there was a level there which was similar to the one we got in the PS1 version of Rayman 2. Basically a showcase of different mechanics they had made for the game.
Btw, would you like to join the Rayman Modding Discord server? Although the main focus is modding there are also a lot of discussions around history and development of the games. That's for example where I learned about the disc having been dumped. If you'd like you can message me on Discord (same name there, but all lowercase) and I can send you an invite.
If you want the PC version then the GOG version is by far the best way to get it. It goes on sale quite often too. Otherwise I'd recommend either the DSi version on 3DS or PS1 version on PS3/Vita.
Thanks again, man! So eh, does the robotic dinosaur have a name already? ;-) Maybe fun to do something with _Ancel_ and the fact that this is a cANCELled :prototy:pe?!

Really cool! The prototype deserves some care too!

@@RayCarrot That's really nice, but I don't have Discord, unfortunately. Thanks, though.
Is Beautiful
How do I play the edited levels?
Right now you need Unity to do it, but I might add editing support for R2 to the Ray1Editor some time.
@@RayCarrot ok thanks
That looks good for a prototype based on rayman 1 to rayman 2 in the final product in 3D
Wow thank you bro... I was waiting for a New video of yours ;)
I'd recommend you check my Twitter if you want to see more frequent content as I post a lot of shorter clips there 🙂
Where did you get rayman 1? Gog reviews dont seem to say any good of it...

Not that I know of :p
@@RayCarrot Alright, I'll call it ... Lance (anagram of _ancel_ ) Legstrong for now :P
Wait I thought this was a real-time edit showcase of a Rayman 2 (the 3D version) beta version. Still very neat tho
I updated the title to make it clearer
RayCarrot oh wow, cool dude Raycarrot
