I can clearly tell you why he isn't more popular. Because originally he is a gospel singer, he used to sing for Jesus in the heritage singers group before the devil worked his way in and the diverted him from God, so God is not happy with him and can't allow popularity in that fashion.
I know Chris from his gospel album which I love/ purchased many years ago.He still looks great and yes his vocal talent Is amazing and needs NO autotune! One of the best vocalist of our time Is now singing secular.What a great loss to Christian music.No judgement for Chris,or his choices or reasons.He and God know that alone.I still love him and think his music now Is cool.Great job Chris,all the best!!!
