they played both civ games, first one they ended before a final battle i believe because of issues. civ 6 had a single world war as they were doing teams but they never finished that game either becuase civ takes a long time. they did however have a nice world war where autralia and germany i think were bullying eachother.

@@WhoIsIanMcGovern Civ 6 ended because Crikens internet went out, in the time it was out the AI took control, ended the war they were doing with the other team, and basically screwed everyone everyone over.

in risk australia might be better cause of limited access, but in terms of power south america, and africa give more troops and moderately easy to cut off access points
Honestly, I love criken, but god damn does he sometimes take forever to pick up game concepts. Very early on it was explained to him that there is a huge defense advantage in that the defender wins draws. So he keeps smashing into actual defensive holds, and then gets surprised when they take significant chunks of his forces, just because he has a bigger number. I don't expect particularly high level of play, but sometimes it does get a little tiring how he often doesn't even want to try and engage with games actual mechanics.
Agreed. It's frustrating to watch most of the time.
What was even more frustrating is how he never learned how to properly attack, especially after his failed invasion of Asia. His friends warned him several times that you can't double back over your own territory, and to plan the path he was going to take...

I've never played Risk before and watching this made me realize that it is a much easier version of Axis and Allies.

Criken had a pretty good setup....but then gmart happened
Lawlman when holding australia you put your capital in east australia because it will take them two moves from siam to get to it and do not fortify on where you put your capital this game. you fortify siam due to them not being able to take a piece of australia unless they can break your fortifications at siam.

Gmart was so annoying in this, wasted all resources on the bout for Greenland because of his fragile ego, and then rage quits because he left the rest of his territory vulnerable.
