And that's what makes Astro like every other great hero. To experience and feel anger, hatred, and grief is natural. But it's another thing to act on those feelings.
hatred turns quickly into sadness to such protagonists or people like that, they may suffer a lot but their sadness is enough to proof they know there's a hope, a wish for things to be better.
When atom said “my hatred is greater then yours” it reminded me of when pain fought Naruto and said “but my pain is far greater then yours” such a great line
Sahad never wanted to be a weapon nor a monster, he was scared of himself so much that he himself is the first of everyone else to view himself as Pluto the God of Death, a monster.
Dude was created to literally bring life back into desert wastelands, but was turned into a war robot. No wonder he's in so much pain and wants to die.
Yeah, I loved the episode where he was in the body of a random robot - his confusion about his purpose, and realisation of his power to sow flowers and that that is his purpose, until 'Atom' is overheard, and uncontrollable hatred kicks in
The same way the battle between Gon vs Pitou but a little different: Atom/Astro forgives Pluto/Sahad and spares him. Gon shows no mercy and destroys Pitou.
Started laughing when Atom said: " My hatred is greater than yours!". Was expecting Atom's face to morph just like Pain's face did when he faced Naruto.
When we saw all Osamu Tezuka's Astro Boy Series(1963, 1980, 2003, 2009), they truly look like and might fit to Walt Disney Animation. Astro Boy Series is such a sort of story (fairy tales) of space, future, science, robots, humans(+doctors), etc. So, in our opinion, we hope there will be new other remake 'Astro Boy' animations on Disney+, Disney XD, and Disney Channel in the future.
Not a lot of people know this but Astro Boy is visually based on Mighty Mouse. Mr Trouble never hangs around, when he hears this mighty sound “Here I come to save the day!”. But Astro has an actual personality and is generally a way better character than Mighty Mouse.
Does anyone know why Pluto has an ability to cry? Isn´t he a machine made for killing? Where did all those tears come from? Btw, this is beautiful scene. No hate.
He's technically supposed to be a dude who's consciousness was put into a machine that was meant to develop life within a desert, but was turned into a killing machine so his father could get revenge for a war/genocide that was started over false information. He's supposed to be the same type of super advanced robot that Atom and the other seven in the story were, so I guess if Atom can cry then Pluto can too
I would suggest waiting until he's older. This story involves a ton of extremely heavy material, like racism, bloody death, genocide, and the concept of hatred
Gonna be honest, for as long as this show spent being coy about revealing Pluto until the very end, I'm not digging his design here, the 2003/Omega Factor version was far better. Not to mention, for all the buildup, this wasn't much of a fight.
I agree, fight was super short for such build up. this series really coulda been 1 episode shorter and I think it woulda been sweet but it def drags on getting to this short rematch
@@KGFIQ I cannot get over how the 2003 series manages in 2 concise episodes what takes this show 8 hours to get to and through, and in my opinion manages to be a lot more genuine about, whereas a lot of what goes on here honestly feels forced and unsatisfying.

I was expecting atom to bust out his iconic laser at least but maybe I'm too used to battle shonens lol @@triplehate6759

Oh shit this is astro boy? tf lol watching rn then
RIP Sahad. You are the flower that never dries.
When atom said “my hatred is greater then yours” it reminded me of when pain fought Naruto and said “but my pain is far greater then yours” such a great line
It reminded me of The Red King telling Hulk: "I CAN GET MAD TOO!" Then Hulk says: *"Not mad enough."*
It is great for the back up of the line, I mean the whole story, but the line itself sounds pretty edgy
Sahad… 😢 I never felt such empathy for a “villain” before
Sahad never wanted to be a weapon nor a monster, he was scared of himself so much that he himself is the first of everyone else to view himself as Pluto the God of Death, a monster.

Astro boy with Gons voice
That's irony

This series... damn!
I get why you cut out so much, but this whole scene was just powerful.
Indeed the deep show on this story was excellent, is one of the best arcs in astroboy
It's crazy how not only is Naoki Urasawa great at suspense and mystery, but is also great at action.
The most beautifully powerful scene in all of anime
What the hell? Astro Boy from a different universe?
The strongest robot is Astros clothes.
This hit deep man
I cried too

It's over when Astro is angry
Am i the only one that pluto theme sounds similar to shockwave from dotm theme?like they may took a little bit of inspiration from it
Initially i hated the approach for Pluto because it was different from the original series but i kind of like it the more i watch it
Don't crying Pluto
So basically ASTRO Boy
No basically it is the Mighty Atom
yeah PLUTO takes inspiration from Astro Boy.
that boy reminds me of astro boy
Cause it is 😂
Lol. Yeah that's Astro
But it's him lol xD
It's him drawn by the creator of Monster and 20th century boys.
Dude, it IS Astro 😂
Its such a great show
this is so sad

Ik this is silly but is every robot INCLUDING war machines equiped with tear ducts?
it one of those things we overlook logic since the story's point is grater then the little details as such.
Not terribly unlikely to build them in, especially as a manipulation technique if weapons are disabled
😭😭😭
Sahad that's literally my sur name
It is so weird when ASTRO boy doesn't look like ASTRO boy.
It's supposed to be a reimaging of the original source material but even darker.
would've been hella goofy to have a naked 60's style cartoon boy in such a serious scenario
Lets be real, this is such a vastly superior design. I don't want to see a kid in spandex and nothing else flying around

Pluto on Netflix

Pluto
Does anyone know why Pluto has an ability to cry? Isn´t he a machine made for killing? Where did all those tears come from?
Btw, this is beautiful scene. No hate.
Maybe the tears are just symbolic to show him from Atom's POV, and he wasn't actually crying in a literal sense.
He's technically supposed to be a dude who's consciousness was put into a machine that was meant to develop life within a desert, but was turned into a killing machine so his father could get revenge for a war/genocide that was started over false information. Is that brutan and astro boy ?
Astro boy
Yes but no.
Is that gonn
My 5-year-old may like this.
Too harsh for 5 yo to understand the plot
Show him the original first
🤦♂
I would suggest waiting until he's older. This story involves a ton of extremely heavy material, like racism, bloody death, genocide, and the concept of hatred
Firing canon is not a good idea when you're near a volcano about to wake up
Is this still related to ' Atom the beginning '
Kinda, it goes way back into Tenma’s younger years, I think.
@@MaverickX578 it's not, Urasawa made Pluto based from one of Astro Boy's story arc, The Greatest Robot on Earth.
