Please I really thank our army and his Excellency The President for being patriotic and having the political will to bring this capacity in our country Uganda. The next step is to enlarge the capacity and manufacture spares here in the country. For us to be independent and also provide jobs and market for these industries. It's my humble opinion thanks.
What troubles me is everytime there is such activities, those against as always part and parcel of the meetings. Who invites wests to these meetings? How do you strategize when your enermies has a physical ear present in your meeting?? It baffles me

As an American of African descent, I believe we are living at a time when Africa is in the process of making her move onto the world scene as an economic and military power, as the General mentions. I wish you congratulations. The downside is that this means they are moving whether or not they want to, further into world war conflicts and will eventually if not already, choose their sides along with other world nations, in the upcoming world war scene. The BRICS and the West are obviously noticing Africa as they can see the gigantic resources that Africa has. They want to be involved as we have seen with Harris's experiment to try and see if they could pay some money towards the US receiving Africa as one of hers and China's behind-the-scenes colonial and money moves taking place over the years in the continent. Both of these superpowers may not be considered exactly trustworthy as one has a history of white racist practices against Americans of African descent and others, and the other is a dictatorship, where just people, in general, don't have very much freedom. So you guys can make your choice. In summary, I believe the people need to pray for their leaders and pray for their country as the face of Africa becomes more prominent in world scene matters.
Well said. Hopefully the world avoids the third world war. But from the pulse on the continent, Africa doesn't look like it will be in the camp of the west
That is a good wish but I can assure that dream is far from reality because of African dictators are manufactured from the West and they serve Westerners interests!
All this will amount to nothing if we can't create a stable and sustainable transition from the old man. We are seeing the barbarism in Sudan emanating from a bogus and selfish dictatorship politics from the infamous Bashir. @@malvernwarmington4942 you're right, the challenge here in Africa is, the military and other departments, due to lack of sufficient funds to run their activities always find patrons who can help them grow and thrive. That's due to the relatively small economies. But am sure when the time is right the military will throve on its own
