I already did all of this. I am looking for how to add it to my website which was never mentioned. This was just for the live chat set up....Square Space to be specific if I may. This whole process is frustrating and not clear.
Hey Andrea - sounds like you're needing to add the HubSpot code to squarespace - is that right? If so, we have another video on our channel that shows you how to integrate hubspot with squarespace, and then the live chat will appear on your site -- ua-cam.com/video/in9lwUNaQr8/v-deo.html You're right the process is a bit fuzzy, so any feedback as to how we can help show this (since inside of hubspot can be confusing!) is great. Feel free to comment again if you need additional assistance.
@@HubSpotHacks Just found a tiny detail when it comes to a Squarespace trial site! I was setting this up for a client to see Hubspot on their trial, but after pasting the tracking code, the chat bubble didn't appear. I went into my Hubspot settings and added the trial domain: "(client).squarespace.com" to my domain list and then when I refreshed the chat bubble magically appeared! Might be worth mentioning here in case someone else is like me and not necessarily using the domain they signed up with. :)
awesome video ! I followed your tutorial but how to turn on notifications ? I use desktop browser and when new messages coming, there is no sound, only a quick notification showing up, so I can't know to reply. Thanks in advanced !
Glad you like the video! If you go to your accounts main settings by clicking the gear icon, then Your Preferences > Notifications > Desktop, you'll want to make sure that "Play a sound when you receive a new pop-up notification" is checked off, and that chat's are allowed to send you pop-up notifications under the "chat and email conversations" drop down. Hopefully this helps!
It is not possible to add a link to the welcome message. We suggest using the chatflow bot to answer questions and direct visitors to different teams or locations on your website. Read this Knowledgebase article: knowledge.hubspot.com/chatflows/create-a-bot
At 1:10, you instruct us to go to 'inbox settings', then 'chat'. I don't have the 'chat' option there. I only have 'Inbox', 'Team Members', 'Channels', and 'Slack'. I DO have the free version. Do I not get a chat settings option with the free version? Or has this option moved since this video was made?
Hey there - you should have those options pop up now on the right hand side of the screen. Go to the top menu, click on "conversations" and then "inbox" - it will ask if you want to do email, chat, forms, or FB messenger. Let us know if that works!
this was an amazing video. Based on earlier discussions i assume that live chat will work on 3rd party website platforms like wix, squarespace with connector plugins or by embed token. Can you indicate if it work similarly for landing pages where hubspot designed landing pages will work with websites built on 3rd party platforms.
Hi Chris - yes you can use the app to respond! Here are the step by step details: knowledge.hubspot.com/mobile/use-conversations-in-the-hubspot-mobile-app
hi i have created chat bot from start from scratch and i want to give connect to live agent button and on clicking on that live agent connect with visitor website .please answer this question
There could be a few reasons why your Chat icon isn’t appearing on your website. Make sure your domain is set up correctly. You also want to verify which pages the live chat will appear on. Also, make sure the live chat is activated. Here’s an article on Troubleshooting the Live Chat Widget for additional ideas: www.google.com/url?q=knowledge.hubspot.com/conversations/chat-widget-is-not-appearing-on-your-pages?KBOpenTab&sa=D&source=editors&ust=1625259191035000&usg=AOvVaw0q0xa5WotGYIPk3dncDsWL
Hi there! If you are on the free version of HubSpot you are not able to remove HubSpot's branding from your live chat. If you have a paid version, you can remove the HubSpot branding following these steps! Click the gear icon to get to your main settings, then under "tools" click on "inbox >inboxes." Hover over your chat inbox and click edit. Right underneath the option to have your chat pop up on the left or right should be a "HubSpot branding: checkbox that you will want to uncheck. I hope that helps!
Here is a response from one of our HubSpot Developer Community members miljkovicmisa. It's always better to include scripts before the closing of the body tag to avoid render blocking. I would also suggest this link here: developers.hubspot.com/docs/cms/guides/js-frameworks#reactjs outlining some points when working with frameworks like react. If you are including scripts in your app it's best practice to use require_js function, more info on that here: developers.hubspot.com/docs/cms/hubl/functions#require-js
Hi there, thanks for checking out HubSpot Hacks! We show you how to navigate to the conversations inbox at the beginning of the video. I hope this helps!

As long as you have the HubSpot code installed on your 3rd party site, the chat should work.
Can the chats go to a mobile HubSpot app? Or do you have to be in front of a computer at all times?

can we have multiple chat bot for main & sub-domain? ex. domainname.com for quality lead & domainname.com/event for FAQ response of event details
yes. You'd set this up in the "what pages this shows up" and the chat flow
@@HubSpotHacks great, i might give it a try later on. thank you
By copying tracking code to Head Section of a React application, will this be enough for enabling Chat Widget?
