Me bro. 😢😢😢 I guess apart from everything, what our generation of players need to learn is how to balance their emotions esp under pressure. The main reason India lose final is due to two reasons. Number 1 The pitch, and second is their own demons of named "Fear of Failure". And most importantly I believe the decision to have that kind of pitch is actually the byproduct of Number 2 only. The problem isn't that they lost the Tournament, The problem is they are still repeating the same mistakes over and over again. For instance, World T20 2024 is happening in less than 7 months, still they aren't final about captaincy, playing XI, combinations (6th bowling option, a proper bowler who can also contribute with bat at number 8) and most importantly mental conditioning. And the reason for that, is that they don't have the guts to make harsh decisions in the first place.

Shewag gave quickfire start in most of the matches. Kohli scored good. Dhoni played a captain's knock in the final. Zaheer bowled well throughout the tournament. It was really a memorable World Cup for all of us.
