video is a downer. the dude is clueless to this incredible bike and its features. currently own a 2020 Piaggio MP3 500cc. LOVE LOVE LOVE it! not sure why this dude is half asleep, but has zero knowledge of this incredible bike.
@@Ridingreviews I think the majority of people who buy these are going to be car licence holders (such as myself) if you had a bike licence you're probably going to get 2 wheeler
I think the real advantage of a MP3 is the tilt lock system. My wife always rides with me and she walks with a walker. She can climb on a three wheeled machine whereas a two wheeled machine would fall over.We have a $37,000 HD Tri Glide. I can buy a MP3 and save $27,000. There are many disabled people in our world who could ride a MP3 but couldn't dream of riding a two wheeled machine.
Wow! This guy hasn’t got a scoobies. The clock is ticking, the bomb goes off in 5 seconds yet this gentleman can’t even lift the seat before it goes off. Kaboom! You’ve just spoilt what could have been a sort of review.
I've got the smaller version mp3 300, it's offers a great riding experience with superb handling and a visible road presence. I like that it's big and bulky looking, but with that said it's not that nimble in dense traffic, but it's manageable.
We are looking at one of these for an old pal of mine. He has a disability and walks with the aid of a stick. Has not long passed his CBT and rids a 125cc small scooter (only just manages) He wants a bigger bike. Can an (L) plate take his bike test one of the theses?
One of the most stupid and dangerous ideas about an MP3 500 is the ability to drive one on a car licence with no prior motorbike experience. The scoot is heavy, it handles like a bike and above walking speed needs to be leaned to get round a corner. A car licence does not prepare s new rider.
@gjohnint you have a valid point and piaggio offer free training with new models...as regards to experience...its no different to the law which allows full bike licence holders to jump in a 3 wheeler car without ever having had a driving lesson...so it works both ways
least getting car license doesnt require stupid amount of money per hour to train, hours of travel time to test centres and anyone with full driving licence and insurance for both can help a learner drive car on provi license
I appreciate your opinion. I would also prefer a normal bike. Though this intrigues me as I live in a high crime area and I don’t think two guys and a van would bother with this.
probably not remember i dont have these bikes long and i only get a sneak peak at them so i carnt do a live with review this might be the best thing since sliced bread for some people
@@Ridingreviews in my case that's exactly how I described it...the best thing since sliced bread...but everybody has different needs and for reasons I've stated previously (plus a leg injury that makes riding anything higher than 125cc difficult) these are great
I think there is a bike out there for everyone i know these have there market because its a hi power bike on a car licence once you get used to it im sure you would get used to it
Interesting machine, even though it has 3 wheels it seem's to hold the road very well. I like the idea of being able to ride it with a Grandad licence, it sure beats the other 3 wheeled option (the plastic pig) All the best.
Probably shouldn’t review things you know nothing about nor can you show it’s features and yes it holds a full face helmet in the rear which passes all the way through, if you knew how to operate it properly
You do realise that on the direct gov website it does state that as long as you are over 21 and have a full cat b licence you can drive this trike it all changed again in 2014 that you could drive trikes in uk territory
@@Ridingreviews I love this bike BUT when maneuvering at slower than walking speed or at traffic lights etc put both feet down ready then hit the button When pushing out of garrage put on stability button first
I think the idea of this was you can have a fairly hi powered scooter but not have to take a bike licence if you have a full car licence you can ride this you dont even need a cbt
@@Ridingreviews that's exactly right...piaggio engineered these around the trike rules to comply with the legislation regarding wheel track etc..its 5mm over ..minimum track width is 460mm these are 465mm
Can you prepare these scooters for my poor country Pakistan like built after ww2 for Italy, Honda & other's at reasonable price for white collar? It is an excellent design. Can be easily run by anyone. All the vespa models are expensive in my country. Even no white collar can think to buy this majestic vehicle.
i thought you had a lot of royal enfields over there we will have to do a swap you send your old ww2 stuff here we can send the new ones there the old bikes would be worth a lot of money over here lol

Read the manual, read it again then practice

The power is good but manoeuvrability isnt great
I'm buying the 500cc version this summer .. can't wait
If it's your first bike, it's good if you have rode before it takes a bit of getting used to

No, sadly not, but if you have a car licence, you can ride it. That is the unique thing about this bike
The guy meets these requirements (Provisional cat A & B) and is physically disabled
@Culture Lounge you would need a full car licence or a full bike licence to ride this bike because this is a 500cc but he can ride the 125cc version
Would love one of these, quick things in 500 form. Be fun on track. Looking at them without comparing them to motorcycles helps me like them though 👍
Im sure it just needs some getting used to and it will be good
