🚨 BREAKING NEWS - The Python in Excel timeout can be adjusted! Here's how you set it in Excel: File > Options > Advanced > When calculating this workbook I set the timeout to 600 seconds (i.e., 10 minutes), and all test cases now pass! 🎉
Another great video. In my not so humble view.... Python in Excel isn't about where it is, but where it is going. On my end, I'm working on sterile data that doesn't have PHI. Getting sign off from the three main hospitals I work with. I think a lot of insight can be gained after watching your series.
I 100% agree! I know that many are skeptical of Python in Excel (e.g., it's designed to run in the cloud), but my view mirrors yours - this is only the start of something big.
I appreciate the evaluation and honesty. Even if Excel ends up being the conduit to doing full blown analysis in Python, it is worthy venture. I am 12 videos in to your Python refresher and am enjoying the content. Can't wait to get the ML content. Keep up the good work!

Glad to hear that my rant didn't offend you!
Analyzing telemetry data would make for an interesting video. I will have to think about that. 🤔
I feel like "Real Data Science" should always be set off with sarcastic air quotes... 😂
A fair point! "Real data science" is certainly subjective.
Good job! Thank you for sharing.

Do you have experience in using openPYxl? If so, what has been your experience in using it?
Unfortunately, I do not have any experience with other Python technologies that directly integrate with Excel.
