I am one of the unfortunate soul forgot to declare and submitted an appeal. I live in my home and my question is do I need to pay first whilst waiting for the appeal process to kick in.
When the Land lord and tenants law will be changed. OUR Ontario tenancy laws are all ONE sided. NOT a single councillors, MPs and MPPs have BALLS to stand up and say these current laws are ridiculous laws need to be neutral and NOT ONE SIDED. So many land lords are compelled to leave it vacant.
It's sad... but it's true to a certain extent at the same time... Although personally I would have never kept a property vacant, some people who can afford it choose to leave it vacant instead.
Hello, thank you for the video. We just purchases a home in August 2022and I am wondering how I can submit this online. If a closing occurs between February 3 to December 31, the purchaser must submit a declaration in the following year. The purchaser will qualify for the “transfer of legal ownership” exemption described above.
I pressed declare. Then it said press exit. It went to home page. Did my declaration go through? I’m concerned because I didn’t put my email in. So I didn’t get a email confirmation. Thanks!
Thank you,
I got this letter couple weeks ago.
Thank you for informative video…
Glad you find it useful!

Cherry, does mississauga city also has a requirement like vht?😊
Can I put my tenant's phone number in the tenant section? or Can I just put my phone number?
So is this only for Toronto or does it also apply for Durham and surround areas like Whitby, Ajax, Oshawa..etc.

Thanks!
Do you know which option to select if the landlord is living and also rented a part of the property?

I have a confirmation number printed from the site. I believed I also received a confirmation. When in doubt, resubmit your application again.
