Thanks so much for this really great video; I appreciate your time and effort very much. May I please ask you a question? I just got a new set of Roland TD-25KV Drums with an extra floor tom and higher-end bass pedal, hi-hat etc. One "very" weak point, in my set, is the optional Roland Amp I purchased to go with it. Through my head phones (stereo of course) the drums sound great. When I play them with the optional amp, not so much. Your set sounds great, can you please tell me what amp/pa you're using or what one you'd recommend for the set I have. Thank you so much for the help; I've looked on-line but I'm not finding much convincing information. You, obviously, have Roland drums and sound wonderful so I thought you'd be great source of help for me. Thanks again...
Roland Mathew Hi Roland and thanks for your kind words. On my setup I'm using a Roland PM30. Sounds really good but needs some experimentation with the setting to get the best out of it.
+Gary Overton I'm not really sure, but it's definitely electric. It's a roland, but i'm not sure which model, i believe that one has mesh heads on the snare and toms. I've played a similar one. You can choose the kind of sound you want, so you can have toms like those or change the pitch and have it more dampened. It should come with a number of presets and you can programme your own as well. You'll notice that it'll seem quite a lot smaller than an acoustic kit, so it's good if your travelling with equipment, but an acoustic kit feels a lot better.
I'm a beginner and I have to learn a drum solo in two days, I learn easily and this is really gonna help me play, thanks
This helped a lot! I'm the only drummer in a Jazz group and I'm not the best at improving and this gave me some ideas for the fills! Thanks!
"Improvising," maybe?
Yay, I was number 420 on the likes!
Cool, kept nice and simple for us beginners
it's really easy to learn to a beginner...
thank you. 😊
i hope you will make more videos like this for us.... thanks!! 😇
it's really helpful and useful for a beginner. thank you so much..
Man, I haven't seen an out dated (old) kit like that in a while. Good job keeping it classic mate

This is so nice but please give me more information on this drum set. I would love to have one. It's an electronic set correct??
