The toad ( the first one ) is the perfect pet for me! Because one of the main reasons why I love frogs is because I love handling them, so I'll think about that one!!!
I can’t quite hear what the name of the first one is can you tell me?
My "pet" frogs are grey tree frogs who hang out eating bugs out of my pool. I named one of them "Skimmer" after a pool skimmer cause he does the same job. He's actually used to swimming with us and being handled on occasion.
He looks very enthusiastic😂btw great video, honestly this was very helpful
1:40 lol this is a horror movie to insects XD
sak sezo I’m thinking about starting a frikin company because everybody hates bugs now and I can handle them so I catch crickets wait there is a flaw in that idea never mind never mind ok this is going all over the place now sooooooo uh IMA PERSON WAHOOOOOOOOoooooo...crap
My friend told me to look up "so you want a pet parasite." this is what came up...
We're sorry it wasn't what you were looking for, but when are you getting a pet frog?
Whites tree frogs are such čhøñkërš i need one ive found a breeder where i live that sells them
I need a frog.. any frog but I'm totally not falling in love with green tree frogs and poison dart frogs aha
I really want a pet frog but my mom says that she doesn't think it is a good idea what should I tell her
When I was younger, I'd always put together a report on a possible future pet, then present it to my parents. Include cost estimates and any chores that will need to be done to take care of a frog.
@@JoshsFrogs that is genius. If my kids did that I would definitely be wayyyy more likely to consider.
I would research on how to look after them correctly or even research other pets because you might find a pet that is better or easy to look after for you
Im gonna take a shot every time he says “joshesfrogs.com” 😂
I want reed frogs so bad, they're so awesome,I'm saving up to buy some
grey tree frogs make good pets too. they look awesome when sitting on pieces of driftwood with lichen or bark.
onjahbro They don’t like to breed North American natives because they don’t want to be responsible if someone releases their captive bred frog into the wild and it take over and become invasive to states or countries where it’s not from in NA. You can still find Captive Bred Grey Tree Frogs though.
Hello I've never had a pet before my family has a dog and he's great but I'd really like a pet of my own ive been researching small pets and I'm interested in a pac man frog would this be a good starter frog/pet or do I need some experience first thank you bye
Wow GREAT video! Love how you supplied all info for each species you displayed. Thanks!
Hello!
I've got a baby pinewood tree frog.We will be leaving our house for a day or two(to our friends house)should I bring her with me?And what do baby frogs eat? What tips would you give me to best care for her?
Thank you:-)
a frog decided it wanted a pet me.
I like that these people clearly just like frogs and think they should be taken care of well even if it's not profitable for their business. Suggesting making your own food for the frogs rather than using their website if you want to is just something I find great.
I love their different colours.
So I've had a look and I really like pacman and the first toad but I was wondering which was cheapest and best for beginners
absolutely beautiful selection my god.
I have a pixie frog, he's a voracious eater and has made me really curious about getting more pet frogs.
nice looking frogs their :) they sure look nice and nice video of that :)
Great video! Awesome Frogs!
I have a pet Bufo Americanus other known as American Toad and she's a great pet
Keely Kuester taking them from the wild can damage ecosystems so its not a good idea
The leaf frog id beautiful
Very informative video 👍👍👍 thank you
The first one is so cute it's perfect for me!
Great advice 🐸💚🐸
Thank you for the advice! :)
Awwwww cuties!
That toad is…PERFECT! I have big cricket keeper and my parents want me to get smaller animal to balance out insect farm for my gecko. This would be great to look at, feed, and maybe with gloves handle.
Where I live there are a bunch of toads, we have a rock wall thing where they all hide and sleep in, it's so cool to see them eat the ants.
When will the budget frogs be back in stock I need them
I have a question. I want to know what is the smallest pet frog I could possibly have that stays small. Please and thanks
Am sticking to my Pixie beast lol
Orange rings around the eyes, ribbid.
Ok once more with even less feeling.
Nailed it.
what do you think about tomato frogs as a beginner frog?
Im planning on getting a male white tree frog do i need to purchase multiple or do they do fine on their own
Dart frogs are just gorgeous
Ya I do
How long would the plastic viv keep one bumblebee toad for?
I’m thinking of getting a Phrynomer bifasciatus frog they look awesome! How big of a cage do I need for on or two?
I’m really interested in having a pet frog, kinda scared of me not being able to hold up with their maintenance tho..
Would Yellow Spotted Climbing Toads be able to eat smaller Dubia Roach Nymphs? I have a colony going for my chameleon and was looking to get a larger froggy fella.
Yes, they will. You may need to tong feed them initially, but yellow spots take quite well to dubia nymphs.
hi Josh's Frogs, I would like to get a roundabout explanation for how big a pacman frog gets and if a 20 gallon would be big enough for an adult
That'll depend on the species, but generally about 3.5-4" in length. A 20g is large enough.
Thnx, was trying to find out if it was too big or just big enough
What do bumble bee toads eat ? How many gallons is a suitable fish tank for them ?
Hi I have 2 normal uk common wild frogs they were jumping into my door when we had a storm🙂
Hey zach my mom loves frogs!!!!!!!
Im sticking to my pacman frog Marco hes a beast I love watching him eat crickets and roaches
I have American toads and leopard grows
I think leopard frogs are great starter frogs, Do you sale them? I have leopard frog tadpoles but, I want an adult :P
imchaseyourroblox We sell many frogs on our website, all captive bred by us! Google our name!
So i was thinking about getting a boreal chorus frog i was wondering what i would need to keep them alive and how expensive they would be. One more thing how could i get persuade my parents into getting me a frog because i doubt they would say yes. Happy frog month!
I've got 38 pet frogs. 5 Australian white's tree frogs, 5 American Green tree frogs, and 38 American toads. And of course, I keep all three species in different cages. Never mix different species of frogs with each other.
Question I Have a Green And Black Dart Frog And a Red Eyed Tree Frog (Both Bought from you The Dart 60$ And the Red 35$) But i want Something that Is Semi Arboreal And Can Live In A Vivarium With a Lot Of Plants And Can Live In High Humidity. But i dont want another Dart Frog I was Thinking a Golden Mantella But there Always Outta Stock
Hello,
We have a LOT of golden mantellas that will be coming available in the next few months, so keep an eye on the website!
I really want a yellow spotted climbing toad bot I live in the uk :( anyone know if there is any possibility of me getting one
What are they called? Lowly toads?
Could the first frog live in a tank with lots of land space and part filled with water that has fish in it (Also a creak running through the land space)
While a complex vivarium is certainly tempting, it's much easier to keep the animals happy in a more simple setup (especially starting out!)
do any of these frogs require a heat Mat? or anything plugged in? I currently have a Scorpion and 4 Tarantulas that I can mist and was thinking about getting dart frogs if I could mist them with a spray bottle. could I?
You can hand mist yes and they don't need additional heating. You can keep them in the same temperature you keep your Ts
I have 3 frogs. One green tree frog, and two grey tree frogs. Fish, derp, and toes.
I've been keeping a green frog that I caught for about a year. He's now used to freah crickets once every one to three weeks and a water change every other week. It's a good frog to keep if you have already kept toads first.
What was the name of the tree frog that liked to be handled? Considering getting one for a first time frog!
White's Tree Frogs and Yellow Spotted Climbing Toads are great for handling.
Josh's Frogs this is because their skin isn't delicate like chorus frogs, reed frogs, or the mantella.
Look at all those froggos
love your link it just sits there loading... doesn't open up or anything FIX YOUR LINK!!!
Can i have a Bullfrog as my first time frog as a pet in the uk and if so what type of bullfrog species are best and if i put the frog in a glass tank with all the lighting and original stuff in it will i hear the frogs croaking loudly or not
Hi Jake,
We do not work with bullfrogs, so I have no clue as to their legal status in the UK. I'd recommend finding someone on your side of the pond to talk to.
Jake cunningham American bullfrogs get huge and require too much space. an African bullfrog might be better.
How much money is the bumble toad and do you have to upgrade the tank
When is the red eyed tree frogs back in stock
😫 I love frogs they are so adorable
what about the frog croaking. i been worry it would disturb my neighbor when they start to croak all the night. Or may be day as well.
Is it okay to catch the crickets for your frog yourself in summer?
Mc Hobbit As long as the crickets are from a pesticide and herbicide free area, you can. There's always the risk of introducing parasites, though.
I just got a few small frogs and need some advice :-)
Are there any types of frog that don't mind handling at least every other day ?
+Quinten howe Check out Yellow Spotted Climbing Toads or White's Tree Frogs!
What precautions do you take when handling a red eyed tree frog? And how loud are they at night?
+Ghost45881 We make sure our hands are free of oils and chemicals, and are damp (or wear gloves). They are fairly loud at night.
Yes, I do.
Do female Yellow Spotted Climbing Toads still call at night? If not, is there a way to obtain a female only?
+Pwerful Females do not call. Currently, we only have unsexed juvies available.
I’m hoping to capture a few toads/frogs from my local creek, to keep as pets
Hi this may be a bit random but would a surinam horned.frog or Asian leaf frog good for begginers
I would say that the surinam horned frog would be easier just based on the space requirement. Adult Asian leaf frogs need about 30 gallons of space whereas a surinam horned toad needs much less space. Wild caught specimens make caring for these animals more difficult so we always recommend captive bred animals to help mitigate this.
The reason I want a frog is bc I don’t wanna feel obligated to handle it-
do all frogs have to eat live insects? are their any that will eat dead ones or dont eat living things (im vegetarian and terrified of bugs)
Unfortunately all of the terrestrial frogs species that I know of depend on their sense of sight to identify food and hunt. Aquatic frog species (xenopus) can eat pellets.
Where can you get poison dart frogs in Europe
Can u ship t9 nz
You make International shipping? I would like to buy but i live in another country : (
We cannot ship frogs, insects, or plants outside of the continental USA. All other items can be shipped internationally, with the exception of brands manufactured by the Hagen company, including Exo Terra, Aquaclear, Fluval and others.
So captive dart frogs are none toxic?
Anthony,
That is correct. What makes them poisonous in the wild is what they eat.
I love 🐸
Where can I buy white’s tree frogs? Petco doesn’t sell them and they seem best fit for my family.
Veronica,
We do carry them. You can sign up on our website to be notified when they are back in stock.
Thank you,
Christy
You guys don't sell fire belly toads??
you could of included also african dwarf frogs .
Jeez this was so long ago!
Is the road hostile to the dart frogs
Listening to this to fall asleep
I already have a frog and I have no clue how to handle it. I should really do research but I don't know what frog it is.
You can email us a picture of the frog and we can try to help you identify it!
Do you have fire walking frogs and I see all types of videos of people holding them, are they non toxic
We do not. As far as I'm aware, all of those are wild caught. We only sell captive bred animals that we produce ourselves.
Whew, I thought frogs were hard to maintain as pets.
Thankfully, they're not :D
They are found at your local pet store, usually by the fish ( in my store, witch is pet smart, ) but are also found by the reptiles ( turtles, lizards, etc. )
Savannah Vihlidal Thanks for the tip.
Desert Rain frogs look absolutely cute as hell...
CookieHam27 DON'T BUY FROM PET SMART OR ANY OTHER PETSHOP
Or maybe you didn't take care of it correctly? Or maybe it was old?
I have 2 european green tree frogs
That i found in my backyard cuz
It was wery warm so they did not get ready for winter slepp so they wuld freeze and i have a yung moor frog that i found in the freezing cold and took it home
