I think a big factor to the damage crisis we are facing are boots! Boots in wild rift are whole items for 1350-400 gold while on PC boots provide nothing but 45 Move Speed(MS) and a utility stat with the occasional unique passive that is also utility. Ex: Sorc Boots(PC) 45ms + 18pen vs (WR) 55ap + 150% mana regen + 45ms + 8 pen! wild rift boots got nerfed they used to be way stronger. both PC & WR have same price too. I know mana boots are extreme but all WR boots give way more stats then PC

Old meta mages : shall I go for magic pen for early game pressure, or ludens for more burst and longer map pressure with more mana
New meta : for half the price I'll take the mana and the pen and movement speed to make sure the extra pen and mana lands in your face 😂

Damage has always been stupid, so denying their damage is often better than increasing your own damage

Oh just yesterday did a 1vs quadra kill with vayne 17 1 12 kda used same items but imstead of trinity i had wits end,and also had bork and abyssal mask

My average solo queue game as Vayne will never give me a good support Lulu that will stick to me like this.

Since the update released, there light and ruin items. Are they literally new items, but most of them are the same. So what are Light and Ruin indicating ?

Light will have additional favourable stats, i.e. more damage,
ruined added little unfavourable stats like, losing base hp, movement speed and atk damage

Ruin Item = more damage/ more stats but a drawback (loss of a portion of your stats e.g. 10-100HP; 5MS; 1-15AD)
Light item = buffed in general

Think that mostly applies to mid lane pyke due to dif gold gain compared to sup pyke
