Very professional footage, editing and brilliant narration voice. I have been to The Broads many times summer and winter as both a keen angler and general locality explorer, there is no where I would rather be.
Lovely Trip, brings back memories..Myself and 4 other RAF cadets from RAF Cosford, rented one of the Gaff Boats for a week, in 1970,. The Broads certainly have changed since then...Thks Deanna
Great video, beautifully filmed and edited! I may take some inspiration from this for next year's holiday video - I usually do my spoken links on-camera, but I think I might try adding some narration during the edit next time. Keep them coming! :)
I normally hire boats there, I think that bridge is a big hazard as u sometime can’t see other boats coming round the corner till the last second, this has happened many times before but it was still fun. Great vid
You're right. it takes a long time to get anywhere because you can't travel fast. But that's one of the attractions - slow, leisurely travel. I used to live near the Broads for years, so I was lucky to visit and see different stretches both from on the water and from the land. And a few miles of Broads on the map seem a lot bigger when you're in a boat travelling at maybe 4 mph. On the other hand, if you only have a day, or you can't afford to have a boat for a week, a Day Boat is a great way to see at least a bit of the Broads.
@@DeannaAllison I agree. The family boats for a week are very expensive. I've been going to Norfolk from up north for 25 years and for the past 10 years the broads. I've seen some amazing sights that really are like no other. Suppose to be going this August all paid and everything but not looking likely to happen this time around 😢
@@alexgawthrop1748 Well, I hope you will get to go back soon. I was lucky to have lived in such a beautiful area of England for so many years and I understand why so many people want to visit.
Hi, if you're referring to the speed limits, the official signs on the Norfolk Broads (at least in the areas I have travelled) are in mph. On the other hand, our knot tying ability is not the best ...
This was a nice video - clear and concise. Very helpful when I'm planning our family trip. Thanks!
I'm glad you enjoyed it and I hope you have a great family holiday!

now that does look like a nice day out .......... thanks for sharing.
Thank you for watching!
I love Norfolk...
This is a highly informative and technically well produced video. In fact it's not a video. It's a documentary programme. Professional quality.
Really good info. Nice voice to listen too!!
Thank you for this
Thank you! I'm glad you liked it.
Beautiful

A day boat is just not enough to see this beautiful place. We hire a 12 person cruiser for a week. My favourite place

How mush was it to hire the boat
It's about £20 per hour for a day boat.
@@DeannaAllison thanks
£42 for 2 hrs over £100 pounds now for 8hrs
One word; knots!
