Disappointed there isn't an 'undo' or 'Confirm to save changes' on landscaping features before being charged. It's such a small feature but would have been so much quicker than having to exit the game each time you make a mistake or decide against what you've done. Ah well, guess we can't have everything.

One thing I do before building or landscaping I turn autosave off save game then I start if I get to a good place and I'm happy I save if I screw it up I will quit without saving reload the map and try again it's a long process but it works

Thank you Famer Cop that was by far the best landscaping video I have seen yet. Now we just need to know how much per sq. foot it costs to change the landscape.
The new Landscape tool is going to drive perfectionists and OCD people nuts… you can’t snap to a grid, can’t control the edges, and can’t control height. I’ve always enjoyed a “neat” farm, that’s no longer possible. 😣
@@tylervincent2559 It's not. This was a very lazy attempt at milking the popularity of FS19. This game feels more like over-priced paid DLC than a new iteration. So many simple features (some that were already in FS19) were left out of this game and the excuse was "COVID" for why development took longer. You had an entire extra year of development and still couldn't be bothered to make half of the "new" things added into the game even function consisently.
I appear to be missing all the plants in the decorations area. I have the first 5 or 6, but none of the flowers and such. Any ideas what that could be or how I can fix that ??
Every time I add a Silo I get a huge hole all around the silo and these don't help. Our semi and Tractors pulling wagons always get stuck trying to make into the Silos.
I've got an issue and assume other have it also. When landscapeing using the w,s, key's for instants. If the geo coordinantes are not set on exactly the 90, 180, 270 or 360. One can't make a long row of what ever. But getting the coordinate's to be at those exact point are a REAL BITCH! Is there a way to remedy it?
Do you have a different version from the rest of us because those gras types are not available for me in the build section. only four, 1 gras and three bush types.
Or how you could change the "strength" of the landscaping so you could slowly smooth out and area to make it nice and even. This new landscape tool is actually a step BACKWARDS somehow.
I couldn't find that option either, and if it's not there it's an huge oversight - placing buildings tends to fubar the ground, and the ground sculpting tool doesn't work near buildings :(
love how alot of the stuff in game works but what is it with these bafoons restricting camera? give us a sims 3 style camera console too right joystick free move if im high up being able to stare down only... sucks... let us move the damn camera lol
thank you for the slope info, but I FIND NO WAY TO RAISE THE BUILDINGS or raise land next to the road edge I had to delete qa map and loose 700+ millions of dollars. I have a barn 500 cow with robot near the robot end the barn got placed 1ft below ground so there is a gap under the side walk I can not fill on elmcreek extended map across driveway from farm house
fs building tools need to get an update everything else in the game is nice but if you try building stuff its extremely hard to make good looking stuff

I find it amazing that with as much as you can do, and as much as you can mod, there is no way to delete the trees in Landscaping mode.

Absolutely. I honestly don't even want to play the game anymore because of this. In my opinion this game was definitely not worth $60.

Make sure the ground is completely flat before placing the silo
So my demolition button quit working on all my saved games and any new games I load. Any idea’s ???

The fact that this landscaping probably costs thousands is a big deterrent for me playing realistically with limited budget 😢😢😂😂😂
Improved building mode is a lie. When I try to flatten an area I recreate the Rockies and Grand Canyon :P

I have a issue that my pallets from greenhouse and beehive are stuck in the ground cant pull it out either total crap:( hope it will be fixed soon
You might try using the stump grinder… I was able to remove pieces of log stuck in gravel.
@@HrdRockFan tried now but doesnt work. Giant has it on the bug list i see now so should be fixed soon

cant seem to remove the fence
If you placed it you should be able to remove it by clicking the demolish buttin then clicking the fence
@@FarmerCop That's not true, I had the same problem with demolishing the fence. You have to restart the game to get rid of it

fs building tools need to get an update everything else in the game is nice but if you try building stuff its extremely hard to make good looking stuff
