This is a fantastic remake. I liked how you added Duck and Murdoch. It shows the characters expanding as that didn’t happen in The Hit Era. But also because it didn’t make sense for Edward to be at the water tower, James to head off when Edward was still in the line and then for Edward to have been at a signal when James arrived.
5:51 I like how James has that dirt and grind smirk on him because of how he wanted to laugh at Bruce; the fact that he bullies the other steam engines.
very nice to see a remake of this episode, it's actually one of my many favorite favorite episodes from series 8, i'm actually planning on releasing my own remake of james goes too far for Christmas this year with the US dub. then again, the UK dub is pretty good too. anyway, excellent job on the video and happy holidays GordonJames5 🎄
@@J.Tstudioproduction6375 oh thank you very much, I am glad you liked IT and I myself enjoy this episode tooas James one of the best characters in the hit era
@@DamiensTrainsandTravels thanks, I tried to add some characters taht were not really or not at all present in the hit era to add some variety. That's what I always try in my remakes
@gordonjames5833 for me series 8 went downhill as likes of Duck, Oliver, Stepney, Bill and Ben, Arthur, Spencer, George & more were absent for ages or hardly seen. It was only focusing on 8 out of hundreds of characters.
@@DamiensTrainsandTravels yeah, I must agree. Would like to see what they would have done with those characters. But even than it's not that Bad when compare it to bwaba or nitrogen éra. I myself really enjoy hit era for some reason. Yeah, just my opinion
Anyone else noticed how in the hit era James seemed to have gotten over his hatred against trucks? I don’t know whether that’s character development or character regression.
@@karenfan010 you know what, I've never realy noticed that before but it kind of does work as a character development in my opinion. But even than he is sometimes seen hating them but not that much
@ not only that him helping out Diesel shows that he also got over his prejudice against Diesels. Honestly I’d say it’s a better pay off than James & The Diesel Engines.
I'm not 100% sure why James would push Diesel to the water tower after he lied about him to the trucks in "Dirty Work", making out it was Duck instead. I think having either Derek or Boco break down instead would've made more sense.

@theburpman8006 oh, I am glad liked IT. Yeah, I always try add some variety to some scenes AS it makes Sodor look more lively
