So you think it’s OK for a lady to have guy friends but it’s not OK for a man to have lady friends? Where is the double standard than that!?! If you can’t trust me enough to actually let me have friends than we’re not meant to be in a relationship and I would dump you in a heartbeat. Because if you are allowed to have guy friends, then it has to be the same for me to be able to have lady friends. Relationships are built on a two-way street called trust. If only one person does the trusting this is never meant to work out. so I’m sorry to disagree, but I think men should be allowed to have friends and ladies need to learn how to trust their man. Not all ladies are after your man. The same way that not all men are after your ladies.

There are too many people who are paranoid when it comes to friends of the opposite sex. I have had many female friends over the years and I did absolutely nothing with any of them. One or two may have had a romantic interest, but nothing would happen without my consent. Actually I had one female friend who wanted to be more and I had to tell her that she was only my friend and that if she could not except that I would have to back away as her friend because I was with someone else. But too many people are hypocrites because they have friends of the opposite sex that they do not want to give up while they expect their partner to give up his or her friends
