What a beautiful boat and very imaginative layout. One concern: it seems to me that, by the design of the seating areas being concentrated to the starboard side, it would be very easy to disproportionately distribute the weight of the passengers, making the boat list to the starboard side. Any thoughts on that?
I have had 12 people on board and have not had an issue with trim. But you're right. If everyone was sitting to starboard, you would use the trim tabs to level the boat. She does have active trim assist. This keeps her level automatically.
So I researched this boat a bit, and i'm finding that a lot of owners are opting for the outboard engines instead of the I/O......I guess even now, outboards are considered less costly to maintain, break down less that I/O, and of course are more easily accessible. BUT then the sinking swim platform disappears. That's disappointing, because that sinking swim platform is truly a wonderful idea.
Yeah. I love the boat with outboards! The platform goes away. But you still have the beach club sides and a swim ladder. It's a compromise. It just depends upon what is most important to the individual buyer.
You need to invest in a decent camera with the right sound recording. Using a phone in the wind is just unrealistic. Play this video back for yourself and see how bad it is.
