    1. Not washing her face every morning
    2. Applying sunscreen religiously
    3. Face masking regularly
    4. Going cruelty free/vegan (diet, lifestyle and skin care)
    5. Ditching make-up wipes (instead using castile soap/makeup cleansing balm/double cleanse)
    6. Temperature therapy (cooling down face masks, using warm towels to remove makeup, hydrofacials, light therapies etc.)
    7. Learning skincare ingredients and labels (understand and pay attention to the science instead of the brand marketing)

Hey Hun I used to wear a full face litterlaly everyday I left the house and it ruind my skin, now I will go out with nothing on or sometime s just mascara and at most I will do blush and bronzer, honestly can't tell you how much better I feel and how much more happy and confident and comfortable I am with my looks and skin, it was hard at first going from full face to just mascara eyebrows, concealer and lip gloss but and my skin looked gorss but after a while it got so much better and now I don't even wear any makeup when I go out most of this time and I honestly look prittier than when I wore makeup ❤️ also foundation makes you hate your skin so it's just all round a horrible product - also sorry for writing so much but hope it helps💓

I’m a licensed cosmetologist and licensed esthetician and I have to say, I LOVE your videos. It’s abundantly clear that you have a ton of knowledge when it comes to not just skincare, but the skin itself! Your videos are informative while light-hearted, I have learned about things I was never taught in school, and you’re just so pleasant and down to earth. You somehow breached the gap of educating and entertaining at the same time. You’re beautiful, and major kudos to you for keeping it real, splitting fact from fiction, and not wearing makeup on this platform (where trolls can be so nasty). Get it girl!

Can you please please please do an updated A.M. and P.M. skincare routine? I watched your video from 2017, which was wonderful, but I know you have taken on many new products, especially from the ordinary. I love your model of healthy skin being multi-faceted, but I also very much want to know what products you are using to this day. I have been living vegan since 2019, taking care of my mental health, and have gotten my hormones under control. I am so happy with those facets of my life, but I need to figure out what products will work for me. My skin is mostly clear except for some very small acne around my chin and some hyperpigmentation from my teenage acne years. I bought many products from the ordinary and am slowly incorporating them into my routine. So far, I love the results. I would love to see what you are using currently :) keep up the great work friend, we appreciate you. We see you. We love you.

I use sunscreen everyday since I am in highschool as my dermatologist instructed, I am a redhead that was born and grew on the tropics, super sensitive.
I have seen my mom get skin cancerous wounds on her face and undergo topical chemotherapy. She is a strong tolerant to pain woman and she was in pain as her skin was so irritated, it was almost raw. Yet she still doesn't care much for reapplying and staying out of the sun. I have nightmares that I go out without sunscreen because I have seen so close the effects of sun damage.

Rocking right on! I too have seen miracles with cruelty-free diet (especially immune-enhancing)! NOTE: one absolutely needs some sun, as Vitamin D deficiency is widespread and is a huge risk factor to COVID-19. Vitamin D3 (cruelty-free, of course) is necessary when sunlight exposure is minimal. The UV light from the sun helps reduce most acne flair-ups.

I have been watching your channel for years bc I have cystic and hormonal acne. I have slowly over the years incorporated what you talked about. 1st I stopped eating dairy (all the large painful red zits disappeared and my acne break outs mainly happended only on my period and the week before). Then I changed products. A little bit of trail and error for what worked on my skin but i did find ones that worked and that had sunscreen built in (Korean beauty rocks and so dose Burt's bees and ROC). This year I stopped eating red meat, significantly cut my sugar intake, and started flo vitamins. This last week has been the he first time I've seen myself in the mirror with clear skin. Even my scarring/redness is so faint. I could cry I'm so happy. Thanks for your videos bc they encouraged me and I credit you for the start of my journey of ridding myself of this plague.

This was from ages 10 to about 14, and it kept me looking GREAT! If they only had Accutane back then, in the 1960s! Most of my classmates had FLAWLESS skin until high school, when some of them had Acne as seniors! (Not the same group though)

@。。i stan too many groups Hi, if you have Instagram you can look at Caroline Hirons' video since it's pretty complete and Informative ( the one where she wears a red t-shirt), but basically Susan kept promoting Naturium products in a few of her videos, saying she just discovered the brand and she got it from PR, when she is actually the co-founder and obviously didn't disclose it. I'm quite sure this is an FTC violation! She has also been deleting comments of people calling her out and has deleted comments in her FB group (also comments about BLM, saying that the group is about skincare and not about other subjects like human rights). Also, when promoting Naturium she said " I've found something better than The Ordinary and I was able to get a discount code for it "....yes, her own brand, again, without disclosing her personal and financial relationships with it.

I'm only prone to acne and pimples, but your skin still looks better than mine :)
I never used wipes to remove my makeup because I'm cheap AF XD But the downside of that was also that I was always scared of buying any skincare over 10 eur because I was scared it wouldn't work for me and I would just lose money ... I only wish I had access to this kind of information when I was a teenager in the 2000s; I'm in my late 20s now and just starting to really care for my skin which is a shame cuz I would've been grateful knowing all this in high school xD
I do think companies should have strived for more transparency and education about the ingredients, most of us are not studying chemistry, but that doesn't mean that we can't learn some basics of skincare formulas. I've learned a lot over these past few months during the quarantine when I discovered a plethora of scientists, dermatologists, and skincare junkies, and this new knowledge really makes me excited about all the skincare that would probably suit my skin and I will test it in the future. I think it's a shame that companies focus only on advertising and marketing, promising something but if the product doesn't work for you, you as a consumer feel like there's something wrong with you not the formula. This tactic of keeping buyers ignorant is really a miss for me, because the comanies think people will keep buying products blindly, but unsatisfied consumers often just give up and the company perhaps initially gained some financial gain from that individual, but if they would have put some effort in educating the consumers, those consumers would have found what works for them and thus become loyal buyers. That would have been a much more sustainable tactic.
Thanks for great content & good luck!

I’ve struggled with acne, my dermatologist even cured me, but then it came again after 2 years.
Suddenly, it stopped about 3 weeks ago. I was shocked. Even my post acne are almost invisible now (though usually it took about 6 months to heal), I can go outside without any makeup. I’ve thought about changes in my life, and this is what I discovered:
    1. I took 2 Maine coon cats - it was my dream))) SO, I stopped being nervous. (Maybe this is important: I’m being treated for depression). So cats really help me to cope with my condition.
    2. Last weeks I was all about cats, so I stopped washing my face every day. And my skin is MUCH better now! I love it’s healthy color, humidity level, even skin elasticity is a way better now! Now I wash my face once in a 3 days.
I guess these things help me the most. But also I did these things even be fore:
Eat healthy food. If it’s hard for you, take this advice: don’t change your diet dramatically, but do add vegetables and greens. It really helps a lot.
    I stopped eating dairy products.
    I sleep enough every day.
Unfortunately, I don’t train regularly so far, but I do this from time to time to keep fit. Also when I’m very lazy to do sports, I dance. This is fun, it makes my mood and helps my body.
Good luck to all of us!!!🤜🏻🤛🏻❤️

@@aartiniranjan1533 i used the ordinary's retinol, glycolic acid toner and aha&bha chemical peel. Used these for over a year and it definitely helped me keep control of my acne and fade scars way faster. I also use their niacinamide and i love it.

Hi Cassandra! I also have fallen in love with masks. Lately my love has taken a backseat- I used to do them once-twice a week before bed or in the morning before a shower but I have not prioritized them. Can you do a video of the different masks you like to use or approve of the formularies? I have not seen any videos about facial masks besides the ordinary's bha mask.

Do you have/could you potentially make a video on modelling with acne? I'm about to begin modelling and have some shoots booked, but I'm just concerned how my acne may affect the shoots. Eg. Should you tell the team before hand? Should you do your own makeup? Will the make-up artist need more time? Etc etc. That would be a hugeeee help! Thank you 😘💜xx

Im not sure if silicones in clinique are good kinda confused not sure. Im not sure if ive been trapping junk in my skin and its not renewing itself with it. They’re saying that silicone filled stuff actually dries it out and does a temporary seal. Idk they seem
Pretty friendly to me but im overly oily later on. Im getting mixed research. If you can make a video about that. I have no idea; otherwise what to use that’s for sensitive skin, with oily combination skin for day. I do see that i get red rashing from alot of products. My skin has been pretty clear otherwise using clinique i think. I started vichy liftactive night cream to skin cell renew my skin vs using harsh retinoids. Could be that not sure.? Been trying stupid primers. To keep the junk out of my pores but i cant use any salicylic acid atm due to pregnancy which of course was the best by NYX the spray and use it as a setting spray.

Hi Cassandra; First of all I have to say I LOVE YOUR VIBE & ENERGY !!! Thank you for all your videos I have seen so far. So informative & honest. I also appreciate that you include the info whether a product is animal friendly (Very valuable information for me!!!!). BIG THANKS I have got few questions; the first one is: Do I have to use sun protection cream if I live in UK? (not much Sun here). I do not like using/buying things which are not necessary. 2nd question is : What do you think about DIY cosmetic products? - I am really trying to buy as little plastic containers as possible. Looking forward to your opinions. All the Best. Ewa

Hi Cassandra, your second point about sunscreen is evidently important. I'm wondering whether you can use sun-protecting agents in combination with daily moisturiser? For example using a moisturiser that has SPF 50+ in it as opposed to a seperate moisturiser and sunscreen? I love your videos thank you for educating us !! x

Omg I really love her. She's really inspiring me to have the same goal even in lifestyle and the products we use morally... I'm still not acne free but my skin has gone lot better.. And I'm kinda having hard time when it comes to my period cause jts when they start to come out and makes the progress slow... But it has gotten better than before, I really take everything I watch in this channel like the turn and learn method I can't forget it! and I feel glad cause it almost feels like I've been consulting dermatologist 😊 so informative and educational too. 🌻🦋
