@@andreyaclayton2079 The ink demon didn't attack because it wasn't the proper time yet. Joey was pretty much 'thought' he was at his height, or on his throne, when he did all the things he did. The ink demon wanted to do the same to represent what Joey did and to make Henry go through the same thing he did in a sense. The ink demon also wanted to show Henry the entirety of the ink machine, his throne, and where people's lives were ruined by Joey's hand to make Henry feel bad about himself for leaving and to make him feel regret before he died. The ink demon wanted revenge. Not to just kill the guy. He wanted Henry to suffer before he met his end.
