Here's a video of a man who ruins the cotton lot by trying to open up a cotton bundle with a lighter in his hand. Yes! using a lighter while standing in the cotton warehouse.

Watch out ...almost no flame, he threw a towel, not burned, the burned area spread somehow digitally. Is it only me that have noticed that? I think its a fake video but again...i am not expert
cotton fire is not big flame but more like how ciggaretes burn but it spreads widely and faster.
what do you think will make them react like that other than a fire spreading?
