You Might Just Want This Filter Plug-In

Does anybody really need another filter plug-in? Polyverse thought so and I'm going to say they were right. Filterverse was just released and not only is it wicked powerful, but it sounds good. This is now officially my new go-to effect.
We take a look at a number of filter options, routing options, modulation options and show off what three filters in one plug-in are capable of.

Cool plugin, but I did notice a few clicks from the modulation. Would be useful to have a smoothing option (unless I missed it) just to take the sharp edges off some of the modulating waveforms. This is why I like using modular, you can just chuck in a slew limiter if you need to smooth anything off. I guess this is easier to use though, and the filter models do sound good.

Yes, most of the modulators have a smooth function to get rid of any sharp transients or clicks. Some of the presets may not be set up with the smooth function utilized though.

Polyverse...one of those companies I did not yet get really into yet (I own just free wider thing) but I really do like their filtering stuff

Yeah, this thing is really powerful. The parallel filter setup in particular makes it feel like you are playing 3 synths at once.

as part of the beta team i can say this plugin is huge. but to me personally sometimes overwhelming. i still find myself rather slapping supermodal on things most of the time

I like having the 8 modulator slots. Sometimes I only use one filter, but it’s nice to set up a bunch of knobs to change parameters.

Not bad but I want resonance instead of 10 to go to 12 (I mean extreme) but still sound pleasing - that’s what make analog filters great! And I also want them to sound nasty! Like ms-20 one! Nowadays technologies give the chance to make it even more nasty and fat, the team should just put some effort to it

They are promising more modules, so they might add some filters to model other past synths.
