Very educative and transformative to all and sundry, and also I always feel part of adventures and so so mesmerizing, happy times for you, safe journey s.
Camping in the Anatolian steppes during the winter is a great courage. You should be thankful you didn't freeze there. It's very nice that you visit places that I haven't even seen, which aren't very touristic in fact, but have their own beautiful features. A different experience from the eyes of an outsider. By the way, mantı is actually a dish that is common all over the country, but has many different varieties, especially in Central Anatolia. It could be called a kind of ravioli, but it only has meat in it.
It actually was turkısh dumplings. You have them in different sizes and there’s several ways of serving them. The ones you had are not my personal favourites and they looked like they came from a package. You should try fresh homemade ones.
İ am looking forward to see your New videos every week. Would you please make a video which is about your tri cycle. İ am very currious about the details of it. How does it been recharged , battery , range etc. İ wish you a safe journey.
Glad that you like the videos! And about the trike, maybe at some point I will make a video like that, but so far I am very busy with videos on what happens on the road, so maybe in a few months. Otherwise, I can recharge the trike on any electric plug. Regarding the range, it depends a lot on the topography, let's say, if it's hilly, I can do around 50 km with one battery, and if it's mostly flat, I do around 100 km with one battery. And I have 2 batteries. Hope it answers your questions.
Fantastic video, Yves. Beautiful part of the world you have shown us today. I didn't envy your camping experience but I did want some of that manti. I checked out the recipe and its really a bit like a bolognese with a yoghurt mint sauce (and did they add garlic in yours?). The Turks love their yoghurt and herbs. Such healthy food.
Thank you very much! Yeah, the Turks love their yoghurts and herbs, and I love both of them too. I don't remember any garlic taste in these manti, but they were really really good!
I can imagine it's very difficult and weird for the people of this region and the middle east to see someone going on these long roads on a e-trike right? It's not something you see everyday.
Dear Iv . Watching your each video with simphaty . Always smiling , always goodwill . Vive la France ! P.s . But , why you didn't lite a / small / fire beside your tent and avoid freezing , I can't understand . Anyway , go further with luck ! Your smile can't be frozen , ever . By the way , till now , your best was riding over Bosnia and Serbia . P.p.s . If you're ahead to Australia , be cautious , there are kangaroos , waiting . Good luck , mon Ami !
Thank you, and very glad that you enjoy the videos. About the fire, I guess on one side I am too lazy to look for wood and make a fire, and I also don't like the idea of making a fire near my tent, because the risk of the fire burning my tent is way too high for me. A tent like that burns in just a few seconds, so a fire near my tent is a life threatening risk for me. And I didn't expect the temperature to be that cold during that night, so I just didn't see it coming. And yeah, Bosnia and Serbia were definitely the places where I had the most fun so far.

This part was magical! The landscape, the music, the atmosphere that permeates the entire video is wonderful.
Greetings from Hungary!
Was in Saudi Arabia for desert storm. Very nice people. I envy your travels through Middle East. Adventure of a lifetime
How about the heat 😮

Yves, i just realized what’s missing in your videos that will make it better - drone shots. Have you thought about getting a drone?

Indeed, most of the time, people never saw a trike before.

The weirdest thing in Turkey is, that there is no waitress in any restaurant or bar.
Where did you hear that from?
Would rather clean pig’s sh*t than work in a Turkish cafeteria all day filled with man...
