My opinion: ...... Looks amazing. The esthetics are great. Trying to get the original vibes. But I think the visuals are a slight of hand to the real problem. Casting. I don't see these actors in these roles. They are amazing actors but not for these characters. Ex. Things voice should be raspy, creepy, NY accent (comic version) But hey, I'll give it a chance.
Re watch it 3 times it gets worse not better. it looks like a Disney movie 🎬 Not a Marvel movie. IT LOOKS CORNY AS HELL Fyi. Anyone who says this look and the writing is good is on Disneys payroll. It's crystal clear that not 1 straight guy with an incredible imagination had any part in this movie.

So weird to see how our expectations have been deformed by years of lamebrain trailers.
This gave us a "fantastic" look at the vibe & aesthetics of the movie, teased the action and even the big bad.
Buuuuuut.... since it didn't really spell out the entire history or give "money shots" people are acting like it's a letdown? wtf....
Also, by the looks of it this appears to be the very first Marvel movie that has an actual photographic intent and look to it, as opposed to being the always bland "just digital cam-neutral" color grading they use en masse.
In what they showed me at the core of the Fantastic Four's early years, it's bright, energetic and serious. The retro style, atmosphere and shape is great. And seriously, welcome to the fantastic four💙💙💙🙏🔥

My only concern going into this was seeing how Reed's powers would look, and they still haven't shown us, so I'll continue to wait lol. Love the style and such. Perfectly fine with Ben's look.
I mean stretching skin is always gonna be one of those effects that that will be hard to make look good so they're probably still working on it wanting to show off Ben and Johnny first.
I got everything I needed from the teaser. Almost don’t want a full trailer to spoil the movie for me.

Considering they wrapped up filming in November/December, it looks good. Captured the feel and look of the Kirby/early John Byrne era comics.
The film 'Tomorrowland' is super loosely based on the entirely unbuilt Experimental Prototype Community Of Tomorrow (aka Progress City), Walt Disney's dream of a "city of the future", which would lead the way in science, art, and technologies. This was Walt's purpose for buying so much Florida land in the 1960s (60 years ago now). He never wanted to build a Walt Disney World. He didn't want more theme parks, but unfortunately, the closest he got to a "city of the future" was just the House of the Future exhibit in Disneyland (CA) from 1957-1967.
(And the Tomorrowland theme park area gets a lot of its aesthetic from the 60s)

Don't excuse me, but this trailer brought a huge hype, the suit, the thing, everything surrounding the project is incredibly spectacular, it's very comic in everything, and now it turns out that it's very difficult get into it, please let's just be thankful that Marvel does something different that we've always wanted

The main problem with Fantastic Four is the same problem The Simpsons has: it outlasted the things it was making fun of. I assume that is why this is set in the 1950s/1960s.

Vanessa Kirby has always been hot. I liked the trailer. Did its job and sold me on why I should peep the movie when it drops. At this point, if Marvel hasn’t done anything to win you over or satisfy you, I wish those folks would just stop watching. You ruin your own day complaining about even the little things that won’t make or break a movie. Thing looks awesome and I’m ready for Galactus!!

Honestly I seen someone on UA-cam that transforms all comic book movies into retro versions of it. Feeling marvel took that persons idea. Really retro and honestly to me Ben Grimm voice was a lot better with a scratchy grudggy voice.
It's what the F4 teaser trailer is supposed to be, and the one comic book movie that should be allowed to use the word "Family" without being perceived as cringe, is Marvel's First Family

Honestly nothing much to judge, other than The Thing looking kind of janky imo, there's nothing much to judge since it's just a teaser trailer. People who are somehow mad at this, their probably annoyed at the fact that Marvel did this big deal lead up hype for a teaser, where if they would've just post the teaser direct on UA-cam you wouldn't hear of the little negative feedbacks.

Tbf the trailer looks good. It just feels too short and we didn't see enough to make us more hype. But there's still things to be hyped such as how comic accurate this movie really is with a little tease of galactus but just doesn't enough. Galactus is smol
Sympathetic trailer, it was decent, I liked the cinematography and the retro-futuristic style of the movie. I think overall F4 cannot draw or build much hype like Spider-Man, Hulk, X-Men, the Avengers etc. They are cool characters but not as interesting.

My only concern is that I didn't see Mr. Fantastic stretching in the trailer. Is it going to look wonky like it always has? If so, are they trying to hide it?
It still has a lot of production its finishing
Since Reed’s stretching would likely be the hardest to make look good, the CGI’s probably still not completely finished. The movie doesn’t come out until July and films don’t stop working on production the minute a teaser trailer comes out, so we’ll probably get a good look in an official trailer or maybe once the movie itself comes out.

The Thing looks tiny. He does not look like someone who could go toe-to-toe with the Hulk. And the Human Touch special effects look the same as they did in 2005. The one big positive is they didn't make Dr. Doom the villian....again!

@@johnniequinn3215 Davy jones, any transformers movie, avatar etc. Even video games like last of us, horizon, god of war etc have better facial movement. He literally is saying words in his scenes and his mouth is not synced up properly.
@hectorrivera5416 What does teaser trailer mean to you? How about comparing what you see here with past attempts at Fantastic 4 character designs? It looks pretty decent compared to them, and that's with 5 months of post production work still ongoing.
