During this episode we reveal our mudroom transformation on a budget! Total cost was under $100! Only cost was a pet door from home hardware.ca and a $3 thrift shop purse I upcycled to create diy hardware for the custom cabinets I built from scrap wood!
Watch us transform our mudroom into a more useful & organized space! I share an inspiration photo of my vision for this project and show you a huge amount of progress we made today working together to get the job done!
That part when Philip loses the hammer is too funny, makes me laugh out loud every time

I wanted to see the dogs going in and out. At 3:35 its behind Phil's arm just had a cover over it to secure it.
They said they want to add puppy stairs and reveal that in a later video.

Love the white, green, and leather combo! And I especially enjoyed seeing the project completed, it's very satisfying. Before and afters are psychologically uplifting, which is what we desperately need right now. I have unsubscribed channels that jump from one project to another and/or drag out projects too long. I understand that UA-camrs have their reasons for drawing out projects but that is not what we need right now. 2-3 episodes is OK and you can throw in a large project occasionally (like your studio). Mix it up, do one episode projects, 2 episode ones, etc. The world is in chaos, everything is up in the air, unfinished, and unsettled. When you do projects from beginning to end and we see the end result, it soothes my soul. That may sound crazy but there it is. You work hard and have awesome ideas, and I applaud your energy!

On the outside they had a little door mat, an awning with a little porch light, and even a house number (same as yours but 1/2 on the end) The inside of the doggie door had a miniature door like the house door so it could be locked when not in use. Super cute and thought of you guys!!!

It is gorgeous, and amazing that you accomplished that with scrap and recycled materials. I agree that you could’ve utilized storage opportunities better with either a lift up feature on the top of the bench or a wider shelf up above that could hold baskets for hats/gloves/ etc, but if the need arises, I’m sure that your skills could make those adjustments. I love your channel and all the creativity, positivity and resourcefulness that you share!
