A lot of the interviews he was apart of were filled with weak questions, I'm glad Anik asked him some close to home questions
this is just what I observed after their LIVE fight. I think taking a bow to the crowd BEFORE shaking hands with Alex kinda shows pride and embarrassment. Alex had to come to him and even then, he just brushed him off.
But idk, it does take that same selfishness to compete at such a high level that he is in right now. But it’s just disingenuous and you can see this whole build up to the MMA rematch that it’s still “me me me Me and this is my B Rabbit 8 mile moment, one shot, last chance.” Quote after quote, he has to tell himself that this is his LAST chance. In all his interviews and media he's done after the fight some of his excuses are as follows. He said he "wasn't even rocked" and the reason he fell is because his leg was compromised by the kick in the first round, the kick he showed on his reaction video to the fight on his YT channel was his left leg, but he tripped over his right leg when he stumbled after periera rocked him. Also him saying he wasn't even rocked is just ridiculous. He said in the Helwani interview that he was injured going into the fight with an injury that was lingering from his cannonier fight, in his initial post fight interview right after the fight he insinuated that he had an illness he was dealing with behind the scenes, he claimed that it was one leg kick that hit his perennial nerve that costed him the fight, there is no evidence of that, he was moving fine the whole fight, when your perennial nerve gets hit it immediately gives out, look at when it happened to O'Malley, Chandler, and Crute, he said in his, Helwani interview that he was covered up against the cage during the final sequence waiting for Alex to gas out so he could take him down and beat him up, which is just a lie, he was out on his feet staring at the ground, hands by his side not defending himself, he also said he was watching his arms during that sequence so he could dodge punches which is another lie, he was looking straight at the ground. I probably missed even more because he made the most excuses after a fight ive ever heard and took the loss the worst I've ever seen, but he did make excuses whether you like it or not.

I think what really fueled Pereira was that video of Adesanya saying he'll be some drunk guy at a bar. His drive is just stronger than Adesanyas. However since it's 3-0, Adesanya's drive is going to be stronger, this next fight will be the best, and I think it's going to be a short one in either's favor.
