If you’re someone who actually does this, can’t imagine ever finding these videos boring! I used to do this but I once got 500£ worth of 50 ps and only found a couple of collectors! So I stopped
I had the Kew Gardens a couple of years back and didn't know it was rare, I used it to buy a coffee at work because it was all I had on me and was gagging for a drink. C'est la vie, never got another since.
I’ve never watched anything to do with coins before, but I do like seeing ones with different designs (I work in a shop) so when your video popped up in my feed I thought I’d have a look. I really enjoyed it and it was oddly very relaxing, to the point that I had no idea it was 1 hour long! I didn’t realise until about 50 mins in and those 50 mins only felt like 10. Really enjoyed it and now I’ll be checking every 50p when I’m at work 😂
I know it must be a royal pain to produce an hour video considering we don't see half of what it took to make so I want to thank you for this Christopher! Very enjoyable to watch!
Woah! What a marathon. Notable how rare some commons were. You netted a couple of good Olympics 🥇 Favourite coin TOG but I would like to find a 2018 Peter Rabbit with radishes. Best design ✨Isaac Newton 🌠
WOWZERS Christopher that was a marathon hunt. But so worth it. My favourites are Suffragettes, Isaac Newton, Modern Pentathlon and The Queens Memorial coin. - She was so special. First bag, first coin an Olympic. You knew it was going to be a memorable one. Well done in the finds and your determination. xxJane 💰
Amazing Video Christopher. Only 5 non Olympic Commemoratives missed (suffragettes, Kew, WWF, Jemima, and Flopsy). The Olympics and Territory coins are fantastic. Agree with you that Isaac Newton is my favourite 50p. Loved the truly eccentric clothing and headgear choices!! Well done!!
Well done Christopher for your resilience if nothing else. Its obvious that there are less coins to be found nowadays - especially rare ones. You have provided lots of entertainment during this video - I’ ve loved watching it. Fave coin for me has to be Suffragette’s Good luck with the next book 👍
Can’t believe in £2,500 there was no commonwealth games Glasgow, thought for sure that troll coin would show up! Key question is will there be a new towel for the new book…
Crumpets! That was one BIG hunt. I watched all the way through and memories of the live stream came flooding back. Thank you for dedicating so much of your time in entertaining us all while searching for that illusive Kew Gardens. Alas, it wasn’t to be…not for the want if trying though. Loved the yellow shirt/jacket, it immediate made me think of the Beatles Sgt Peppers album cover (don’t know why) Thanks again Christopher. 👌🙂
That was fantastic viewing. I kinda wish there were more of these mega hunts. tbh. Im surprised you didnt find more Benji Bunnies but some great finds nonetheless. Some nostalgic attire there, buddy. 👍
Hey C-squared. Here's an idea to mix up your hunts a wee bit. For the next set of books, both 50p and £2, how about the following. 50p - prepare the book with all the goofy looking tabs 😂 and excluding the Kew gardens pick the rarest five Olympics e.g. football, tennis etc. Same applies for the other commemorative coins, say puddleduck, Newton and three others. Only when you have found and inserted those ten coins can you go ahead with the rest. Maybe some variation thereof. For the £2 coins apply the same. Prepare the book and then you can only insert coins once you've found the four commonwealth games and the next four rarest common coins. Something to consider. Cheers
Christopher! That was a brilliant 50p coin hunt!! A shame you didn't get that Kew, but wow! All those Olympics!!! My favourite 50p is the Issac Newton and Olympic tennis! Thanks for an entertaining video! Exciting to now be starting a new book! May your luck continue!! 🙏
A Mega hunt indeed rewarded by so many fantastic finds and some cool outfit changes my favourite being the iconic Freddie Mercury Yellow Jacket (Wembley 86’) ✨ Great stuff Christopher 👍🏻
I hope you put your doublers back into circulation for other collectors. I have a small coin collection I've gathered over the last couple of years that have appeared in my change. Remember each time a coin is collected leaves one less for everyone else and we don't all have two and a half grand to vacuum up specimens.
I like the idea of a huge hunt, but you should use it with 2 books - one with the one that has Kew Gardens missing, and a new book too - after all you can finish one book possibly, and in the unlikely event you get another Kew Gardens 50p that goes in the new book. If you don't start a new book from this, you may end up rejecting loads of hard to find coins ......
Hi Christopher, great hunt. You sign all of the Benjamin Bunny's that you find and return them to circulation. If you were to find one in a later hunt, would you keep at least the first one in your oddities collection?
Hi Christopher, fantastic coin hunt! I have yet to find a king Charles 50pence coin in my change! I've never seen the coin yet, have they only been circulated in certain areas of the UK? I wanted to ask is it a rare coin your looking for to complete your set ( Kew Garden) if so what date is it your needing. Enjoy you videos very much, you always make them exciting whilst checking out your coins , happy hunting 😀.....Pat.
Hi Christopher, thank you for the video, it’s appreciated very much, I love watching them. Quick question, what did you mean by the di clash on the sir Isaac newton please ? Thnx again .
Can I ask how do you store the coins you bulk collect like ironsides and 2019 50p coins? Do you have a box/folder for them or do anything special? Or are they kept in a heap!
I wonder what the spread of found commemoratives will be at the end, compared to mintage figures and age. It will give collectors an idea of what percentage of commemoratives are still in circulation..
Epic effort mate! We’ll all expect it again at the end of the next book! If you find a Kew before you finish the next book… then another, does it go in this book?
Very nice hunt, I watched it all the way through because I do my hunts while I watch you do yours. Hey Chris, is my avatar pic one of your Benjamin Bunny's? Also, I found a 1999 Gibraltar £2 commemorative coin depicting the 5th out of a set of 12 Labours of Hercules. I was going to send it to you until I found out its potential value. Have you found any Gibraltar £2 coins featuring the 12 Labours of Hercules?
The only cointuber who can have a full hour video about coins and not bore you to death. Wow! That is absolutely incredible

Totally epic! 🤩 I had an overwhelming urge to straighten up the stacks! And the yellow jacket was the best!
Woah! What a marathon.

@@Booboosmom i really love his videos. i watch 1 everyday. im a few days behind but catching up. i love watching one before going to sleep for abit
Well done, Christopher! I did watch through to the end but it took me two goes. You get the prize for dedication to coinage.
Glad to see I’m not the only one to struggle with the tassel on a fez. I wear mine as safety equipment while using power tools in the garden😂
Great effort Christopher! The Olympic Tennis, Isaac Newton & Sherlock Holmes my favourite designs today
I admit I sometimes skip in the regular hunts to see what you found at the end but watching this beginning to end was great fun, so many cool finds!
Well done!!
The Territory 50p's are the star find of the MEGA hunt.

One of the most ludicrous hunts I've seen! 😂 An epic send off to the book even if you didn't find the Kew! Same time next week for another £2,500? 🤣

Hello & good luck Christopher
Well, I had to watch that from 1:45 AM to 2:45 AM. What a hunt. I think I agree only do it 150 episodes in when you were only missing the Kew Gardens.
lol great start!!

There was a pride coin picture for the King Charles coin
Five Million and Seventy ( were the 70 for the years of reign allocated to special people - mint members, royals etc ? )
Strangely addictive. 🙂
Copy that
Wonder what the odds of finding a Kew Gardens in the first hunt of the new book are?
Stupidly low I’d assume 😂
