- A video about audio performance comparison between the Behringer PK112 passive speaker and Hehringer PK110 passive speaker. How does it sound like?
This comparison is purely audio performance difference only. Usage of high quality headphone or high quality audio system is a must so you can hear then every tiny difference between them.
The audio was captured with Behringer UMC404HD sound interface and Behringer ECM-8000 measurement microphone. Audio gain was adjusted to be the same for all model so you can have a fair judgement of the sound quality of each model. Which one is your favourite? PK112 or PK110? Let me know in the comment below.

Great, thank you, Eric. A great review video. Got the 10" speakers today as I need a lightweight alternative to some heavy PA speakers I already own. Will only be used for acoustic guitar and vocals in small to medium size rooms.
Both sound good. The PK112 for larger venues and PK110 for smaller. The PK110 is easier to carry and set up. But fuller sound, PK112 which is not bad to set up. These are not like speakers of old which weighed a "ton." These sound good and are light weight.
Good points. I thought the same and went for the 10" speakers for acoustic guitar and vocals in small venues or rehearsing at home with a mid-range Yamaha Power-Mixer. I already had some far more powerful, high-end speakers and a standalone, high-power amp for large venues.

Thank you very much..
YT audio codecs seem to distort the signal significantly, or maybe sound source was played from some lossy mp3 source, it's especially painful during "Purple Rain" section of this video. Anyway both speakers seem capable of really good sound quality at this price. Thanks for the review!
Hi, how do you think the pk-110 would perform in a little rehearsal room environment? (for a band) A pair of them.
They will be used only for vocals and some support pre recorded tracks.
It would be ok for practising
Should be fine for vocals and acoustic guitar when combined with a power-mixer, which is why I went for the 10" model. Personally, I would use additional purpose-built amps for electric guitar and bass. Drums should be loud enough in a rehearsal room without amplification.
Hi, is pk115a pair good for DJin for 80 people crowd ?
It would be kind to share some experience since im planning to buy pk115a pair
Has somebody use the 112A or 115A for a live band? How does it work? I need 2 and i was thinking on buying this, but i am not sure...it will be for a bass, guitar, bassdrum, 3 voices and the keyboard. For being played on terrace in hotels and resorts in mexico.
No, not recommended. Live band go for Dr115dsp
With a set of subs + active cross over, just fine.
Hello.. Test pk108a pliss
Does it have low thumping sound ? a bit of boomy bass but not too much would be great
I would describe as thin bass. Not much thumb or rumble
@@ericcheesaihoo what amp are you using?
How loud does the 10 versus the 12 get? Around 120 db? Lower or higher? Great price, just not sure if loud enough for my purposes.
Just good enough for small room
@ericcheesaihoo My guess would be around 113 to 115 db. I had some Tapco thumps, 15 inch; like 10 years ago rated at 113 db each. Decently loud for 20 to 25 feet away.
I used the 10's on 11-16-23 for a mid sized bar and they did great. I ran our vocals & electronic drums through them and it sounded great.
I thought the 10's sounded more focused, vocals were tighter.
@brianroyst1869 I bet powered speakers are made a bit better and louder than a decade ago. Even the smaller sizes I imagine.
Cual es el precio del PK-110
Hi, i was wondering what do you think about the bass response of the pk108, because i havent seen you test it? Does it have an acceptable level of bass for a standalone monitor, can you hear / feel a bassline down to like 60 hz for example? Specifications given by the manufacturer are rather strange, 87 Hz to 35 kHz at +- 3 db, 20 hz to 20 khz at -10 db. Doesnt quite make sense to me. Would love if they had a response graph and rms somewhere...
Pk has thin bass. It's acceptable for its price. If you have higher budget, then it's better to skip
@@ericcheesaihoo hi! Is it possible to connect this speaker with any kind of subwoofer?
Good day, does anyone have the exact specs? RMS on the PK115 or PK112?
Rms is not given by manufacturer. By theory rms = peak divide by 4
@@ericcheesaihoo all information, RMS and peak are in the manual. Your theory is incorrect.

These speakers sound good even on videos! HOW's the volume playing over an instrument, can you still hear music, im sick of headphones, now bring back the 70's lol..
Yes it can
With a 128bit aac audio stream From UA-cam🤔
is this good for Edrum?
I would say no
Definitely not the best sounding speakers. They're really cheap so this is to be expected. Thanks for the quality recording!
🤣 128 bit aac, quality sound 🤣
Quality recording?
The sound quality is actually very good, as the cab is a copy of a JBL eon.
among all the speaker brand and model i have and promoting, PK is in the last place for me to promote. actually i can say i don't promote it at all. But due to brand power, and ridiculous cheap price, customer will come automatically to purchase it. before purchase it, i do offer something better at higher price. but if for them price come first, then business is business. deal
Does the horn reach the CLIP too fast?
This not powerful spk
How many SPL max level Pk 110 ?
90db
These are remarkably similar to Skytek, Vonyx etc. Probably just rebranded (maybe very slightly tweaked) cheap Chinese speakers.
your mother is Chinese too and you are a total ignoramus this is certified stuff with a lot of guarantee not like the bullshit you shoot

You obviously do not have a clue about audiio.

Can I connect these speakers (pk110A) to a mixer with an xlr cable?
Theoretical yes but... The XLR input are mic level input and the mixer output is line level. This mean you can easily distort the audio signal. The only line level input is in the form of RCA connection.
Get yourself some proper speaker cables or risk damaging your equipment by overloading through inappropriate cables. These speakers feature Speaker-Twist connections and so do most power-mixers and standalone amplifiers. Always best to use the correct speaker cables.
