Singapore, and by extension that the SE Asian nations also shared similar sentiments, is telling America not to decouple and force everyone to have to choose sides because they might not like what SE Asia might choose. He is also telling America to put up or shut up, unlike China which is actually doing something concrete in the region. He is warning America not to plunge west Pacific into a conflict because SE Asia will not appreciate being destabilized for America's interests.
SE Asia has no choice. SE Asia except Korea and Japan already are Chinese vessels. Singapore has been invaded by mainlanders and regular sg chinese listen to chinese propaganda regularly. Game over

Even though property price + rent is very high inside Singapore, but homelessness is almost nil, citizens can afford to own houses through government program and various public housing assistances to its population. More good than bad when plenty of foreign $$$ come in for Singapore's open economy. 🤔

How can you respect what PRC 🇨🇳 say? They can change anything whenever they want to, just look at what Hong Kong went through Minister Wong; the Sino-British Declaration (an international signed document) and the PRC teared up and not honoring it.

It's not even 1 percent of a 400b portfolio. It's part of investment, u calibrate your exposure according to risk. Glad we have intelligent people taking calculated risk and growing the fund to be one of the world biggest today despite us being such a puny country. @fongfatchee777 where were you when Temasek was making tons of profit in their investments? Were they accountable or do you even have any idea at all? You and your likes were quick to ask for accountability when there were investment lost (its just 0.009 percent of the portfolio). Dose it make any sense?
If one thinks there is a possibility to making investment and never loses money, probably one never invests.

Lawrence Wong said the PAP candidate selection process is "thorough and robust" but when Ivan Kim, one of the PAP candidates during the last election was criticized by voters the PAP did not defend him. The party told him to defend himself basically throwing him under the bus. He withdrew. The PAP also said the party will return to the issue after the elections. When? It is over a year since the last election.
So PAP should defend like WP defending a racist R.Khan who got called out during GE and in the end R.Khan found lying in Parliament. Also not forgetting WP threw R.Khan under the bus after she was found lying.
DPM wong still missing something when he talk. When u compare with the 3G minster and PM. Maybe he still new. He not as natural as the old guards. In the beginning is xi jin ping the change to president xi. Need more practice and more public forum
Not impressed when this is a Bloomberg interview and he has to improve his mannerism and choice of words as a designated statesman. The recommendation is to watch and learn from how world statesmen handle interviews.
3 points to share:
1. Never look at the camera during an interview. Just look at and talk to the interviewer and never give a big smile (do it only when you are talking to voters).
2. Never answer the interviewer's questions by the letter, and never repeat his questions because nobody will remember them when you speak.
3. If you don't know how to answer the interviewer's questions, talk about your favourite lines that you want the audience to hear and always remember that these recordings will still be around 50 years from now so don't let it come back to haunt you. Be a Master like your predecessor who took years to overcome his shyness before reaching the level of an expert.
For Taiwan, the status quo is no longer viable as time goes on. A conclusion will be forthcoming.
