Which to my mind appears fresh and clean, which is what I prefer for things like paint and fabrics.
Nina. Great video. Can you show us how to mix textures? What does this even mean? How many textures should we play with? How do you pair them and what do you pair them with? What about colours when bring a few textures together? Should we go bold, contrast or stay within the same colour family? Pls help.

There’s nothing more beautiful than a Parisian apartment. I do suggest Benjamin more simply white as it does have that warm undertone and very reminiscent of the apartments that I have seen in Paris.
Simply White has been my "go to" for several years now. It's a true white ... but warm. Balboa Mist is my 2nd "go to" it's beautiful is every lighting situation.

Simply white everywhere walls base board trim and ceiling definitely in different shine We Just finish painting our house The doors are wrought iron by BM which complements our beautiful charcoal fireplace in our great room....and looks fabulous! Love your look Nina you look fantastic as always

I have Simply White, Chantilly Lace and Balboa Mist in my home now. I also have Silver Satin. I never tire of neutrals. I accent with blacks and light tan neutrals. Love it.

We do not live in museums, we live in houses. I paint my rooms to add COLOR, not to take away from it. If I wanted to live in a prison cell, white would probably be the color I would pick. I don't paint for other people or for what is "in style", I paint for the colors I like. My royal purple in the bedroom and the beautiful merlot accent wall in my living room room make a statement of class and elegance. Pops of color make a home the place you want to be. Painting is such a personal choice, and the rules are only limited by what the person living in the home decides they should be. When I move into that museum, maybe then we can talk about whites.....

I love how you express yourself in bright and bold colors and you should always be you. At the moment I am gravitating towards a warm and neutral white. This to me doesn’t feel like a museum but it feels soothing and calm against a world of chaos and noise. Each of us should embrace our originalities and live our lives accordingly ❤️

Is the color ivory considered an extreme pale version of brown?
You are correct! Adding a lot of white to brown will give you ivory.
