Thank you for mentioning Fifth Angel. Those guys were on another level. I do hear some similarities here to the Time Will Tell album of the same year 1989.

Generic 80s rock with a generic 80's voice. Classic example of some guys with some talent trying to match their sound to what is selling. I bet they were in seattle 5 years later with flannels on and another sound.
😂😂 maybe in 86-87 this would have hit a bit, but by 89, the writing was starting to be etched on the wall. I remember watching a video of Headbangers Ball with Megadeth in 1990 and Mustaine and Ellefson were basically shitting on these kinds of band for their redundant, plastic sound.
Rob rock is still singing with impellitteri and he sounds exactly the same !! Amazing vocalist he's dubbed " the voice of melodic metal " he's been on avantasia may solo albums he's huge in the power metal world . And best of all he still has the exact same hair cut he had during this demo . Also before this he's in the super group MARS with Tony Macalpine , Rudy Sarzo and Tommy Aldridge. Also the guitarist in the band roy z is a huge metal producer doing albums with Bruce Dickenson and Helloween just to name a couple !
