LYRICS
I could see the city lights
then they turned to black
then I heard a sirens crying sounding out ATTACK!
I could see the rockets glare
shooting in the night
everyone was praying for their lives
am I dreaming
I don't believe it
am I wrong or right
then I heard a voice say in the night
I'm a warrior, take my hand!
let me lead you to the promised land
I'm a warrior, take my hand!
I'm a soldier under his command
then I saw this blinding light
I heard a sonic boom
I could feel the earth shake in the doom
I couldn't see him
but I could feel him
lift me to the sky
I could hear the voice that saved my life
I'm a warrior, take my hand!
let me lead you to the promised land
I'm a warrior, take my hand!
I'm a soldier under his command
(solo)
am I dreaming
I don't believe it
am I wrong or right
then I heard a voice say in the night
I'm a warrior, take my hand!
let me lead you to the promised land
I'm a warrior, take my hand!
I'm a soldier under his command
I'm a warrior
take my hand!
Some really great guitar work
must be 4 versions of this song ✌️👍
Powerful vocals, I'm impressed.
Rob Rock, a true legend! \m/
This is the best of the 4 versions of this song that exist. Roy Z FTW!
Forever ROCK...
I love this!
Sehr gute Band ❤❤❤ 😊😊😊
Nice Stuff
Sorry, is the song over? It must've put me to sleep.
"STOLEN THIS IS IMPELLITERRI"!!!!!
What do you mean stolen? Yes it was made for Impellitteri's 1987 demo EP, but it was co-written by Rob Rock and Chris Impellitteri so they both hold credits for it. Rob Rock are even in his band...
Um, no this isn't Impelliterri. His tone is less condensed and more raw, more old school, in fact the opening is almost like played on a strat style pickup of the guitar. Almost Akira Takasaki-esque in essence. But this version is more a Rob Rock type tone, and still, a great version.
killer intro, horrible song
