    Hi pal do you have to leave ignition on after you rewind the rear calipers on the A class cheers

      No once the car is put in diagnostics mode and the callipers are retracted you can switch off the ignition

    When I go to ‘pad replacement’ it says ‘conditions not correct’ any idea what that means? I can’t continue without it

      I’d double check you’ve rewinds the calliper using the service mode, also ensure handbrake isn’t engaged

    Then do you have to go back into the menu and put the brake system back in 'normal' mode ? or does it just sort itself out when you apply the park brake next

      Great question. You don’t have to go back on the menu. As you get in the car you’ll have to press the brake to start the car which consequently compresses the piston. There’s also an electronic handbrake, if this is applied that will hold the position of the piston.

      instagram.com/p/Cbukcn4toRv/?igshid=NTc4MTIwNjQ2YQ== that’s how the set came from euro car parts. If you notice even prior to fitting the same orientation was present. If you have a look at the documented pictures all 4 pads are the exact same with sensor notches

    Are there any break pads sensors in the rear wheels?

    • @chiragbulsara
      @chiragbulsara  4 місяці тому +1

      Might be car model specific. This a class didn’t have sensors on the rear however you can see the insert for a sensor indicating that these pads are designed for implementation of the sensor. You car may differ
