Queen's University 2024 Total Solar Eclipse

An estimated 6,000 people gathered on Queen’s campus to share in the wonder of a total solar eclipse at 3:22 pm on Monday, April 8, 2024. Faculty, staff, and students from Queen's University's Physics, Engineering Physics, and Astronomy department shared their expertise with the local community, providing educational outreach and distributing 120,000 pairs of free eclipse glasses to prepare for this rare celestial phenomenon.
