In her speech during the discussion on the Motion of Thanks to the President’s address Tuesday, Trinamool Congress MP Mahua Moitra slammed the Centre for making 'hate and bigotry' a part of its narrative and alleged that the judiciary has also failed the country. Referring to the 2019 sexual harassment allegations made against Ranjan Gogoi, who was then the Chief Justice of India, Moitra said it is a matter of great shame that someone sitting in that chair was accused of 'such a horrible act'.

She is not in politics because of somebody's grace.
