    Christian, with your brilliant presentation of HDR file and the masks of Lightroom, the sky, the buildings and the reefs are more beautiful. The lifelike view of the photo is unobstructed.
    Your inspiration of combination of Lightroom and Photoshop is amazing and very helpful to me.
    I am grateful for your wonderful dedication! Thank you so much!

    I found a great way to add warmth or sun glow is to mask the area you want and use the blue channel in the tone curve and pull down the middle of the hi lights

      Oh yeah, you can do a lot of very cool things with the tone curve! I love pulling up the red channel for more intense sunsets!

    Christian, nice video again. However, many of your changes are are very litte and marginal (especially if you make multiple small changes) that they don't really show up on UA-cam. It would be nice if you could explicitly show more the "before and after" effect at the end (e.g. by deactivating and activating the masks etc.). Thx for your work!

      Hey, thanks for pointing that out, I will try to show more of the changes in future videos! UA-cam compression is really annyoing :(

    i wonder why u didnt't just blend in the lights in the beginning?

    • @ThePhlogPhotography
      @ThePhlogPhotography  Місяць тому +1

      Thanks for the comment! In order to blend the lights I would have to switch to Photoshop right away, skipping the raw adjustments (well, I could still do them if I worked with smart objects in Photoshop). It is of course possible to do it that way, however, I want to first get the raw adjustments out of the way then blend the images.
