Thankyou for the video. I will be making my own crackers this year so they can be more personalized. I like that if I have slightly larger gifts, I can just use a 8-9" piece of card to adjust the width of them to fit. Absolutely perfect, again, thank you so much
Hi Sam. Great video. I really like the way you consider people who are maybe just starting out with crafting or do not yet have all the tools, your way gives everyone a chance at creating. Many thanks. 🌺
Looks like you will be having a lot of fun with them! I will try to make them. And mayby use papers that stayed unused for some reason. Thanks for sharing, always fun to watch your videos!!! Have a lovely christmas!
Thank you for this video. I live in the US, but I have done Christmas crackers with my family for a number of years (maybe 25?). We can find crackers in some of the stores here, but I want to make my own so that I can personalize them. I have everything I need, including the snaps and the hats/crowns! I was just thinking tonight that I needed to find instructions on-line and your video came to the rescue. Thank you! I am a recent subscriber to channel and have been enjoying your crafty videos. Happy Christmas. :)
Girl you killed me with the six sided octagon... 😁 😂 😂 😂 But seriously, I love the tut for the round ones. Being German we do them for new years eve and I'll have to find some goodies to put inside now. 😁
Hello lovely! These are amazing and thank you for making it so simple :) not sure if I missed it in the video, but what GSM is that paper? It looks sturdy but not too thick!
Thanks, Sam! Love the video! I know you're very busy this season, but I was wondering if you could make a new - and Christmas - version of your Pretty Book Card, with a non-envelope punch board case for it? Like a cards case with a velcro closure? I'm terrible at trying to convert things. :o
I have no clue what these are. Never heard of them. Would love to know more about this. Thanks for sharing. If someone could fill me in on this it would be really appreciated.
Rhonda Davis these are like party favours for the holidays. Sort of like getting a super duper fortune cookie. Fill them with a candy, beaded necklace, a fortune, traditional crepe paper hat, key chain, chap stick. I like to put in several items, a hat and a fortune, joke or holiday toast. It is meant to be opened by two people, one pulling each end. It’s always a hit with kids and adults alike. Make sure each person holds the taped end of the cracking devise with their thumbs as they pull to get the firecracker sound “pop!” Everyone will be laughing and sharing- and yes they will wear the silly hats! Check out more UA-cam videos for more details and ideas. The supplies for the cracker and hats are readily available on Amazon.
Help Sam. I've had a go at making these but the diamond shapes just split every time I tie the ribbon round. Where am I going wrong. The paper is good quality.
Love this crafter, easy to follow, no annoying music and to the point.

Hi Pamela, mine ripped at first too. I think I didn’t let it fold into itself enough and pulled the ribbon too tight!
Do you have a french traduction please?
Sorry, I don't know any French traditions.
It doesn't mind. I'll try anyway. Thanks
