My parents at first believed I wanted to cut my hair off because I wanted to be a boy or start a crazy hair phase. But I told them a few months into having it that I cut it to resemble my grandmother, who had passed a year before I did it.
My dad says I’m a lot like her with my hobbies and habits, so I just wanted one more thing to remind me of her
