There's not much happier in the world than a pup on its back with their tail going waggywaggywaggy! Yeah, I'm the one in our household who has to take Claritin daily this time of year too. Nice upgrades, much more important than washing in my opinion.
To use the easy lube you need to rotate the wheel as you slowly pump the grease so you don’t blow the seals and get grease on the brake shoes. The best way is to remove the brake drums and repack the bearings with new seals.
Glad the weather is finally warming up for y'all up yonder. Those wheels look sharp! I don't mean to criticize and only offer a tip for repacking your wheel bearings. Pull your hubs and repack the bearings by hand, replacing the rear seal as well. And while the hub is off it gives you the opportunity to check and clean your brakes. Thanks for sharing the resource of RecPro . Enjoy the peace of mind your TPMS gives you on travel days. Stay safe.
Hi Stephanie and Mike ,good video ,blacked out except horse shoe shape . Will to buy old rims if willing to sell . Match our 2017 Grand Design Image 2600rb ,tire lasted 5 years too. Your 🇨🇦 fans ,Randy and Judy coming threw Ind. In Sept. can pickup rims .😅 🐎 🐴 Don't to forget to retorque after you drive about 200 miles.
That and you aren't supposed to use a power grease gun. And you still may blow out the real seals and contaminate your breaks with grease. Ask me how I know. 😡 I will never use the EZ Lubes again.
Totally agree a TPMS is a great peace of mind. We have the TST version that has a stand alone monitor so I don’t rely on my phone. We also upgraded to metal valve stems to help prevent the weight of the sensor from damaging the valve stem as we go down the road. Great video keep it up! Safe travels.
On the new aluminum wheels make sure you recheck the torque on the lug nuts every100 miles, then three hundred, until the torque stop changing. This is the problem with aluminum wheels until the lug nuts get seated in real good over several hundred miles. Then just check them before you leave a camp site.
I'm so glad you showed popping off the cap on the Easy Lube axles. I've seen Lippert's pictures of the end of the axle but they never showed with a wheel on. My 22RBE has the same wheels, with removable end caps. Never realized that meant it had the Easy Lube axles (I popped the caps and checked, they do.) That makes the bearing repacking I was about to do a heck of a lot easier. I wasn't sure when I'd find time to remove the wheels and rotors to regrease them.
Looking good. I like the new rims. The contrast between the black and chrome is sharp. You did a great job. Using a torque wrench and lubing the bearings are a step above the average person installing tires. Great video, can’t wait to see what’s next. Stay safe.
Thanks so much! We were surprised by how much we liked the contrast too. I'm so glad we had help and advice on this one, thanks for noticing the extra steps ❤️ thanks friend, you too!
Some people have reported that installing TPMS on the rubber valve stems, makes them flex while going down the road leading to failure of the stem. In other words, it’s bending the stems many times and they crack next to the wheel. So, keep your eyes on the stems.
STOP!!! Do NOT lift the trailer by the axle! This is old school and you could damage it! Check your owners manual for the correct way, which is to lift it by the frame! Invest in a 4-ton floor jack to make this much easier (been there with a 3-ton) and because your lifting by the frame, the jack needs to have a longer lift. Check it with the manufacture before you do any lifting.

Khali is loving the sunshine. Claritin is a must this time of year! Thanks!

We'll keep that in mind for next time! Hope you enjoyed the video!
If mike needs a side hustle I hear Just Tires is hiring. Can’t wait to see where your journey takes you guys in 2023. Safe travels.

Thank you! Good thoughts!
Wheels look a ton better. Good job!
Love the new rims and tires. And yep, add the accessories a little at a time.
Thank you, Kevin!
So lucky you have a master mechanic to help. We need to change our tires this year too.😊
We're pretty lucky! 😁 Thanks so much!

TPMS is a must for me. Added peace of mind.
We're so excited to finally have one!
EZ Lube hubs should be rotating as you work the grease gun according to the Dexter manusl.
Thank you!

Good to know! I didn't even know they made metal valve stems. Thanks!

Wow, never heard of that! Can't say we ever did it! Thanks for the advice!
@@lifererouted Second on that...re-torque those lugs several times until the nuts/lugs/bolts are well seated.
30,000 miles on camper tires you did very well!
I'd say so! Thanks!
Love the Lilacs in the opening scenes. So Indiana!! Keep up the great content.
Thanks so much!

Should be super simple now! Thanks for watching
You guys make tire-changing so easy! LOL Hope the warm weather sticks around! Take care!
🤪 Thanks, guys! Hope you're doing great!
Congrats on the new RV shoes and techny upgrade. Looks awesome! Happy it's warmer😊. Looking forward to where those wheels roll. Safe travels!
Thank you, Larry! Spring is finally here 🙌
I love the new wheels
Thank you!
Those wheels look a lot better, much more modern, bougie (sp) ? Fancy lol
Bougie for sure!!
Y’all are amazing! Great job on the tires! Have a great week. See you next week. Much love from SC, Jane ❤️🙏🏻
Thanks so much, Jane! Great to hear from you ❤️
I would love to have your old rims off your camper. I got the cheap ones on mine lol

Excited for you guys!!!
Thanks so much! We're happy with everything so far!
Why new rims?
Need ti have them balanced !!
Don't the new rims look nice? Just mixing it up!
Nice job on changing the tires.
Thanks!!
Love the tire rims. 👍👍👍
Thank you! We're really impressed with them!
Thanks for bringing us along!
Thanks so much for watching!

Looks like you have metal stems… all good. I need to swap mine out for metal ones.
Your supposed to rotate the wheel backwards while your putting grease in the ezlube hubs.
Thanks!
Thank you for not saying "Tire Pressure Monitoring System" "System". I always silently judge that type of repetitiousness 😅.
😆
Nice rims, not sure about those tires. I just switched to Goodyear Endurance from the cheap foreign factory tires that came on the RV
Awesome new wheels and tires! Wish I had that grease gun those battery powered ones are sweet!
It was super nice!
Good job. Those look amazing.
Thank you 😊
Mike
You did an Awesome Job! 👍
Thanks so much! I had a lot of help 😁
Good job 👍👍👍👍
Thank you!!
Good information. Thank you.
Thanks so much, Betty Jo!!
Nice 👍🏻👍🏻
Thank you!
Did you get the tires balanced?
Not yet!
Did you get the repeater with the TPM system?
I did, haven't installed it yet.
Good video 😀 just saying no matter the mileage on tires should be replaced 5 to 6 years so 30 thousand miles might be to long 😊
Thanks! That's why we replaced them!
Great information
Thank you so much!!

I saw that too! Good way to damage the axle.
Tires wearing on the inside like that might mean your axels need to be checked.
Good to know!
You trust your leveling jacks to hold the camper up? Why aren't you using a jackstand to hold the weight. Never trust a hydraulic jack to hold weight.
