Country-based pricing for WooCommerce allows you to sell the same product in multiple currencies based on the country your customers are in. how does this work. #woocommerce #currency #wordpress
The plugin automatically detects the country of your website visitor via the geolocation feature included in WooCommerce (version 2.3.0 or later) and displays the currency and price you previously set for that country.
You have two options to set product prices for each country: Calculate prices by applying exchange rates. Set prices manually.
When the country on the checkout page changes, the cart, order preview, and all stores update to show the correct currency and price. Sell and receive payments in different currencies, reducing currency conversion costs. The extension comes with a country switcher widget that allows your customers to change the country from the front end of your website.
Apply currency conversion to flat rate and international flat rate shipping. Country-based WooCommerce product prices are officially compatible with WPML.

Hi! I've set correctly as you taught, however the plugin is changing the currency, but it's not making the conversion of the amount, the product is USD 79, and it's only changing it to R$ 79 it is not applying the amount rate conversion as well.

I want the shop to convert prices from USD to EUR automatically based on the current currency exchange rate. My checkout sollution does not support USD. Will the checkout work if a plugin first changes the prices from USD to EUR?
It's a good question, I thinks is better to ask the plugin devs and when you do it, please share your checkout solution name.

It depends on the payment gateway, if it support the local currency, they are charged in local currency.
Hi, i wanted to know whether i can create dynamic pricing also. For example, i need 2 pricings. If in India then it will charge a low amount say 100 Rs(This is a very very low price in india) but when as soon as anyone logins from anywhere outside India, price will change to USD, it will change to 500$ automatically (a very high price) would that be possible?

It can be a lot of things, maybe server location. VPNs for example, try to contact the plugin devs support
Hi Bro, It's due to your woocommerce store location, try to change the woocommerce store base location to the country which you want as base currency, for example if you need currency by default in INR then change the woocommerce store location to india. it will be in woocommerce -> settings (general settings).

It's nothing like this at all. soon as you install the plugin it takes you to another page that asks you for a license and to do that you need to register, why is this all so different?
You probably installed another plugin.
@@visualmodo it was the same plugin, i had to get a "maxmind" account to get the code for the plugin to function

Hi! Can we set the price manually for each currency by not use the automatic rate converter? I mean for example the original price is IDR 300.000,- , and if i switch to another currency like USD. It will be USD $45.
