Mat, keep an eye on the pressure gauge if you're using a 1.1mm orifice. You don't want that going higher than the recommended for your washer. You can always turn it down slightly with the red knob if it's a bit high.
Cheers. I was watching the gauge with the quick release couplings fitted and all seems OK. Only used the 1.1mm orifice once, but will make a point of using it next time and check the gauge
I was literally just doing this yesterday! Bought a curved lance with rubber handle and protector over at a fixed 15’ degree nozzle. Had to use a vice tho to switch from Karcher to QR! The vice also helped me get an old Karcher attachment off my snowfoam lance which was properly stuck on solid!!
Very detailed guide for beginners like me, we want more videos like these from you, also 1.1mm orfice jet upgrade of your foam canon lance, really appreciate your videos and your work.
Good stuff Mat. Did the same myself when I got a new trigger. Quick release makes it so much quicker and less messing about. Gotta have good quality fittings though, the cheap crap isn't worth the hassle.
i got same setup for my nilfisk. just finish waxing the car with some g3 super gloss wax, very surprised how easy to work this wax is. (i usually have fusso coat) didn’t take any picture but very happy with the result. Also, today used for first time the auto glanz tyre and rubber cleaner that i got on sale the other month and wow so happy with the result. tyres were dirty and one go with it was enough, it foams so well and cleans even better.
HI, I have the same gun from Imran and he same pressure washer. I was having my PW repaired at Kranzle in southend. They showed me that the nozzles have a flow rating of .35. It has to be at least .45 . .35 means the pressure washer will be working overtime and will reduce life expectancy significantly. I can't find anywhere that has the 'right' rated nozzles. and before anyone says they are just saying it as it isn't their kit, the guys there are REALLY helpful
*I haven't used it yet, however, this pressure washer replacement gun offers greater spray flexibility over the standard sprayer gun that came with my pressure washer originally.*
I was thinking I wouldn't like it. First few washes I kept using the extension lance still, however, I've got use to just the stubby gun and a nozzle and don't even get any of the splash back I thought I'd get
Nice reflexes Matt, not bad at all... few times the connectors were falling from your hands (butterfingers ehehe) but fair play, you got some reflexes. once sunday football returns, you’re up for goalie.
Hi buddy. Very nice video. You did a good job informing me. 👍. Maybe a tip, [ I am a Plummer for 30 years) I think it’s better to put the tape always clockwise on. And don’t turn everything a much as you can. It’s not good for your items, it’s just a tip.🙏🙏🙏. Thanx. Gr. Stef. 18:05
@@TheDetailingSpacehi man, can different guns be hot swapped while the machine is still running with the quick release attachments or does the machine have to be turned off and the built up water pressure released before swapping a different gun in. thanks.
I own a Karcher K4 and I want to buy a quick release gun with a swivel coupling. Could you please tell me exactly which connectors/fittings and gun I need? I know there are ready ones. What is your recommendation?
Since yesterday i have a kranzle 1152 TST i would like to have quick release modules. If i switch to the foam gun takes time every switch. From 6 min you are connecting the Quick Release things on the wire and the gun. What size are the quick release modules? do you have links to the quick release things?
I’ve just invested in a decent stubby gun with quick release and a new snow foam cannon with a quick released fitting. Do you find the snow foam cannon swivels around on the fitting when you’re using it?
What the orifice size for that nozzle tip ? i'm confused what size i need to order.. some said k2160ts need 060 orifice size and some said use the 040 size..
Hi, can you tell me which adaptors I’d need to buy for the Kränzle hose to connect to the gun? As the gun has a screw thread. Also which adaptors I’d need to order for the spray foam lance to connect to the gun quick connect
Detailing World the Kränzle 2160 TS needing a quick connect to the standard gun it comes with. As well as the gun you received from the detailing online store for free, mine has the same standard screw type. I’ve got the same foam lance as the one here detailedonline.co.uk/products/snow-foam-lance-fit-all-pressure-washers?_pos=4&_sid=83f823d5d&_ss=r
Hi Matt, the links in the description don't specify the connection sizes. As I am based in Australia I need to order them from a local Kranzle dealer. Do you happen to know the specific sizes for the quick release fittings and the foam lance quick release?. Also did you happen to put quick release on the extensions ?
You'd think a professional pressure washer like kranzel would come with quick release as standard. After spending 600£ on a pressure washer I don't want to be having to research parts 😒
@@TheDetailingSpace They dont am afraid, well not on their site anyway. I have their short gun and nozzles already, can thoroughly recommend as you say. Thanks anyway, no worries.
I received my stubby gun from slims detailing yesterday for my nilfisk and it comes with a little connector bit but not sure what it's for as the nilfisk hose fits straight in the gun, what is it for? Can anyone help me please? Is it for snow foam lance? the website says it's a nilfisk connector.
@@TheDetailingSpace Do you run @ full pressure too on the washer Mat? The 25 degree green nozzle will be a proper ripper! I find I use the 40 degree one the most.
Hi Mat I looked on in2detailing website and couldn't see the qr couplings on there, is this a mistake, and you got them from the link to amazon? Thanks J-P
Erm, the connection to the hose will fit yes (as I've just added a male to the Kranzle gun). For the exit of the gun, I think it's a nilfisk adapter you'd need. I'm sure Imran at In2Detailing has them.
Your quick release fittings on the hose look really small. Are they the same size as the ones on the snow foam lance? If so they’re too small and will create more pressure and possibly damage your motor. You should be using 3/8” fittings not 1/4”. Replace ASAP Also don’t use a 1.1mm orifice on a Kranzle unless you want the pressure washer to break. Same reason as above. Obsessed Garage is my source for this info.
As for the 1.1mm orifice, I won't be using that all the time. As you see, I have 6 or 7 snow foam lances and my preferences are the wide ones that don't topple and are easier to fill up
Detailing World Hi Matt, what connectors would I need to buy for the hose to connect to the gun as the gun has a screw thread? Also what connector would I need for the end of the spray foam lance ?
The hose doesn't need PTFE, the sealing is made with o-ring and doesn't need to be tighten strong, just with hands is enough.
Bought the quick release couplings from Amazon for my Kranzle 2160 TST, just want to say it works like a charm!
Thank you so much.
Hi ! Decent video, little tip when using ptfe tape is to always wrap it round clockwise so when your tightening on your fitting it doesnt unravel. 👍🏻
Yeah, I usually do. I confused myself whilst recording lol.... In fact, one came undone and I had to redo it 🤣
I'm pleased as my 2021, 2160 & extensions was delivered with the "ergo" quick release, so no more M22 on Kränzles.
Nice 👍

I've just changed it to a quick release a few weeks ago :) Edit: Forgot to mention, I think the standard orifice is 1.2 mm and the smaller is 1.1.
Dunno where I got 1.4 from then... There's a clear difference between the two. Shame my measuring calipers wouldn't fit inside 🤣

Where did you get the orifice from? Checked in2detailimg and they don’t seem to have it?
The smaller orifice? Ordered them from ebay
Should have just got an all in 1 fitting that way you don’t have to chop n change you just twist the nozzle to which ever degree you need it at
TBH, I'll probably just use the green nozzle 90% of the time anyway
There seems to be little information about the nozzle size of those all in ones, I'd be concerned they are too small for a 2160.

Obsessed Garage is my source for this info.
Fittings are same measurements as Obsessed Garage. Or as near as I could find when converting inches to mm
Double checked, they're 11.8mm (that's the internal diameter of the female).... 3/8" is 9.5mm, 11.8mm equates to about half inch or 7/16"
As for the 1.1mm orifice, I won't be using that all the time. As you see, I have 6 or 7 snow foam lances and my preferences are the wide ones that don't topple and are easier to fill up
