This is absolutely revolutionizing. Finally a DM kit that inspires me. You carded everything, and as a magician myself, using blank cards that I have sitting in my pile of cards, and using marked decks for some roleplaying.... and then using cards for cheat sheets....Freaking genius!
I'm impressed with how much "generation" content you have in your kit. I am also amazed at how different people's kits are! You have things in there I never would have ever imagined to put in mine but now I want like all of the stuff you have in yours hahah
Yea the NPC generator looks pretty cool but its too clunky and slow for me. I made my own system using random templates modified by a deck of random events that i made my self. Its extremely interpretive on purpose so you can make snap decisions and not worry about having made a "mistake". My problem with rule heavy systems in general is you can't really make snap decisions without risking making mistakes. Which is why i all ways use custom encounters and monsters XD.
I have nothing like this and so I usually just run pre-made adventures. I believe I would love to go off the beaten path, and this would help, but I'd definitely want to have practice using this stuff. I bet someone could package and sell this kind of a kit for the masses and make a killing. Pair it with a quick DM guide to improving and randomization and it'll be golden!
I really like your kit! Have you ever heard of dice fall battles random terrain generation dice? I use them all the time to make forest encounters and they're great
Inspiration struck while watching your video. I usually plan my adventures and don't have much use for random dice. (I will not like the weather I rolled and decide differently anyway. But I always wanted to play a completely random chronicle with no prep.) So, when you don't have ridiculous dice for 100€ lying around, what do you do? Let your whole group come up with an idea for what is next. Write them down on paper and mix. Draw one from your dice tower and roll with it. Players are the best at fucking themselves over and inspire the DM, when they are depleted of creative energy. Seeing you complain about the clunky story dice, why not make your own? Buy blank smaller dice and put your own (or your groups) symbols on them. Erase after the adventure if you like.
There's my Discord that you can join up with, but feedback's not always a guarantee there. There are a few communities floating around the internet, but that's basically the same thing around there as well.

Oh those blank playing cards are so cool. I’ve always hated giving my players a floppy piece of paper.

Those condition rings also fit perfectly around Bananagrams tiles. For a low-prep game, use initials for your monsters.
Love this kit. Almost enough to make me want to dm again.

My wife and I both have the ran-dice.... they are awesome for just personality stuff for Random NPC creation. Very cool!

I see what you did there
I like the NPC picture cards you had in the three ring binder. I'm not seeing those in your links.
Actually, a majority of those aren’t printed anymore. I had to scour through eBay

Hey Taron, do you have any recommendations on how to get useful feedback on a homebrew for unknown creators?

What is the tiny potion dice called and where do I get them?

Are the cards reusable, like a whiteboard?
