Me too, these shows are really precious gifts. As a fan of the Scarlet Witch and Vision relationship too, I only could have dreamed that we get a show of their own as well. Marvel and Feige especially are really experts on picking up on fandom wishlists and the chemistry of their actors/actresses and tailor the storytelling around them. Here's hoping to many more amaze-worthy and delightful developments in the MCU.
When Mackie pointed out how great Bucky's character is, it fascinates me how I can recall almost every of his scenes because his story has always been iconic and well-developed throughout the timeline.
my mind literally did a flashback/tribute thing about Bucky. Makes you think you know, like he was such a ladies man, the confident one, lively before but then Hydra happened and now he is trying to find his way again.

Yes Anthony Mackie could make ANYONE talk, we've seen it, but with the right fit it's more nuanced, like with these two. They complement EACH OTHER, not just Mackie making Sebastian better. It works both ways, which is the best intro/extrovert relationship. Mackie brings out Stan's childlike freedom to be silly and not worry about what he says, to be confident in his abilities and to be PROUD of his personality quirks, rather than feel anxious, because he's in his head about how other people perceive his social awkwardness. This has made him more appreciated by Hollywood because they are able to see his multifaceted personality, which was previously getting no airtime, because other extroverts he's been with in interviews usually just talk over him, or don't engage him because they're taking the silence as disinterest or not having anything to say. Anthony came in and unprecedentedly honed in on that, took the time to realise that Sebastian has a great personality, and just needs encouragement, and a little spontaneous craziness, to keep him unsettled, so that he doesn't have a chance to withdraw. But he does it in the least aggressive way, which makes the Introverted Sebastian feel safe enough to join in and let out his crazy. Then after constantly seeing that he doesn't get side-eyed for being quirky and awkward by Mackie, but actually appreciated for his humour, quick wittedness and general randomness, he just let go. So Mackie is a safe space to be himself without judgement, really. On the other hand, Sebastian brings out the sweet, complimentary, deeper side that Mackie hides a lot with his funny, witty sarcastic humour. He really enjoys the fact that even though he's conventionally and very clearly funny, Mackie ALSO has a random, awkward side to his humour too, which is incredibly intelligent, a little dark and quite genius. I think that part is actually very important in their dynamic, because Sebastian is an obvious nerd, and it turns out Anthony Mackie is too, even though he hides it with others, he let's that side out with Sebastian, because unlike most other people he's with, Sebastian actually knows and expects his intelligence and not just the hammy side. So they do a lot for EACH OTHER in my opinion. Weirdly though, a lot of fans just focus on Mackie's actions towards SEBASTIAN, but not the reactions that Sebastian pulls out of Mackie too. Anthony sees the strength of the Bucky story arc like the audience does. Hope there's a 2nd series and they can delve a bit deeper into Sam's backstory too. I think this interview out of all of them for the tfaws promo, I wanted Sebastian and Mackie all hugged up on each other. The way they played off each other was everything. But we didn't get the chance to get Mackie looking at Sebastian and complimenting his eyes or something else that would have Sebastian smiling and blushing. It feels like I got Stackie-Lite or diet Stackie. Not the whole Stackie experience. *pouts*

Sebastian seems to have such a soft heart, maybe almost too soft. He must be protected. But Anthony is right, he's a hella good actor, cause he's done some roles where he's nothing like that at all, he can act fucking insane (literally and figuratively). This interviewer is great! Compared to the others i’ve watched, he’s done the best job at going beyond the surface level questions and articulating them so well. Sebastian and Anthony seem equally as invested in the questions too! I love seeing their banter
I have to admit, I initially thought this series would be a quirky buddy venture that would try to capture more of Anthony and Sebastian’s off camera chemistry on a project. Boy was I wrong. They covered more in the first 5 episodes than I could have ever imagined and they both really showcased their acting chops while exposing the audience to their respective characters back stories as well. Bravo to the entire MCU. They really do great work at Marvel and with all of their accomplishments they somehow still continue to impress everyone. Keep up the great work and I can’t wait to watch the final episode to a surprisingly excellent web series.

I agree with Mackie that Bucky's story in the MCU is easier to follow. Everything he had gone thru from the first Capt. A. where he was this bubbly human being and always defending Steve to being brainwashed under Hydra and becoming a deadly assassin and almost wanting to kill Steve in the Winter Soldier. Sebastian Stan as Bucky Barnes is the best thing that happened to him. I hope Disney will make a movie on him on what he had gone thru while in Hydra and the assassinations he did and how he crossed path with Black Widow.

i love this interview! even tho i’m a bit late to it all of the other interviews i’ve seen with sebastian & anthony on the falcon and winter soldier press tour have just been silly questions about asking “who’s butt is better” “roast tom holland” and other gamey things. it’s understandable i guess, we all know they have wonderful chemistry, but sometimes i feel like their actual talent is overlooked. they’ve been able to portray the dynamics of falcon and bucky so well and so naturally and as a fan, many of us don’t even know where to start when it comes to commending them for it and how great of actors they are in general. but you my friend, you did it extremely well

I have to admit, I initially thought this series would be a quirky buddy venture that would try to capture more of Anthony and Sebastian’s off camera chemistry on a project. Boy was I wrong. They covered more in the first 5 episodes than I could have ever imagined and they both really showcased their acting chops while exposing the audience to their respective characters back stories as well. Bravo to the entire MCU. They really do great work at Marvel and with all of their accomplishments they somehow still continue to impress everyone. Keep up the great work and I can’t wait to watch the final episode to a surprisingly excellent web series.

Thanks to Anthony Mackie, I’ve never desired ketchup with french fries more. In the form of Mackie/Stan of course. I ❤️ these two together on/off screen so much. We better get a season two. I agree with Mackie that Bucky's story in the MCU is easier to follow. Everything he had gone thru from the first Capt. A. where he was this bubbly human being and always defending Steve to being brainwashed under Hydra and becoming a deadly assassin and almost wanting to kill Steve in the Winter Soldier. Sebastian Stan as Bucky Barnes is the best thing that happened to him. I hope Disney will make a movie on him on what he had gone thru while in Hydra and the assassinations he did and how he crossed path with Black Widow.

i love this interview! even tho i’m a bit late to it all of the other interviews i’ve seen with sebastian & anthony on the falcon and winter soldier press tour have just been silly questions about asking “who’s butt is better” “roast tom holland” and other gamey things. it’s understandable i guess, we all know they have wonderful chemistry, but sometimes i feel like their actual talent is overlooked. they’ve been able to portray the dynamics of falcon and bucky so well and so naturally and as a fan, many of us don’t even know where to start when it comes to commending them for it and how great of actors they are in general. but you my friend, you did it extremely well
