I'm so proud of Lizzy and all the work she's put in behind the scenes. I remember how hard it was for me to make the move out to LA from the east coast, feeling so alone, so far from my family and things that were familiar. Following her story the past couple years making the move and chasing her dreams has been so inspiring and shows that you can do anything you put your mind to. I'm really excited to keep growing with her on this journey and to announce that she'll be joining us for even more classes on DNCR.com in the coming weeks! This truly is only the beginning :)

We're so grateful for all the love and support on Lizzy's journey. It truly is just the beginning! We kept our word and put out our first tutorials together so you can now dance with us online dncr.com/lizzy-sp/ 🫶🙌 I also had a couple other surprises for Lizzy this past week so this definitely won't be the last you'll see of her :) stay tuned 💙
You are a jewel, sir! She is a gem! Y'all are royalty!
You go girl, you got it!!! The moves, fantastic! Your smile says it all and your passion for dance is stellar. Love to you for pursuing your dreams.
As a health care professional it's not great to be obese. Puts a lot of stress on your internal organs
Does Lizzy have her own channel? I’d love to follow… and her ballet looked amazing. Would love to see more.
Lizzy, you are absolutely beautiful and amazing and talented !!! You have a wonderful future ...... and soooo much passion !!! Definitely want to see more !!!🥰
i love that her transformation was not about her weight, but about her confidence! 🎉
Indeed
Oh that is a relief
@K Ü Ł Ø T She's got medical conditions and takes medications that contribute to increased body mass.
@K Ü Ł Ø T You’re making assumptions about her weight. And if she can dance like that being overweight probably means she’s in better shape than you think she is.
She has pseudotumor cerebri, brain pressure..aggravated by overeating...if she lost weight it would help her condition...and vastly improve her attempts to dance.
Can we just applaud the ease with which she picks up choreography, omg 😳
They've been working on the combo, she didn't just learn that. But she’s still wonderful 🙌🏾🙌🏾
For her to pick up dancing as fast as she has shows she was meant to dance in my opinion.
Exactly!! 👏
I was the only one to get a “B” rather than an “A” in my college intro ballet class that I took for fun. Even though I was 105 pounds, I completely lacked technique and I found out I had no memory for choreography. My nerves always got in my way even when I did remember it. So I legit admire this girl and I’m actually jealous of her. I would love to have her dancing skills.
She wanted to do ballet. I am sure that she knew this already, so no actual progress.
It's BEAUTIFUL, Matt, you saw Lizzy as a DANCER and not a stereotype. Believing in someone helps that person believe in themself! She believes in herself! I loved this story!
So did Jordan the guy that took her pictures in New York and they're beautiful.
Love You Girl, You have no idea HOW MUCH Your Beauty has inspired and touched so many , Truly An Angel 🥰🕊💞💖🎶🎵🤗🎉
She is an amazing dancer and I love watching her dance.
I'm a plus size girl too! I've always had a passion for dancing just never actually tried it because of my size! You never see plus size dancers.. so Lizzy thank you 😊 you inspire me to want to learn how to dance hip-hop.
Watch Beyoncé’s tour. A plus size dancer was up front in ever show and I think did some of the choreography.
Beyonce has a beautiful Jamaica plus size sexy lead dancer. And Janet Jackson also has the badest dancer ever. And you can't take your eyes off Janet thick dancer, she got a standing ovation.
Oh!! GO FOR IT!!! You ROCK!!! I did it at 60 and lost 160 lbs. weight loss was not even my intention! I’m happy both ways🤷🏼♀️. Don’t care…
But now I dance all the time!!!💕💕💃🏼💕
@@Nutnboujeethis is inspiring! What kind of dance did you do? I turn 41 on Friday and ever since I had my first daughter, I have struggled to get the weight (and depression m) to stay gone... my daughter is almost 18 😢.
I love dancing. It may be what I need to try to lose weight!
As a former plus size, I gotta tell ya. I never gave up dancing. Now I'm slimmer, but older'dirt. I STILL dance.
This is what makes Matt better than the rest and more than just a choreographer. And you can see it in his students, he's like a big brother to them ❤
Yeah agree 😊💯
And also like Father and like a cousin
@@gabriellejackson6356 also a grandfather and great grandfather
So true😊👏🏼
She’s awesome. I’ve watched many of her vids. Matt comes across as a super caring guy.
The smile on her face when she’s dancing is priceless ❤😊
When you dance you forget all your problems because of it 😇in my opinion
She's such a inspiration and a joy to watch!
She's amazing
Agreed 💯…it was the first things I noticed and had to post.
Plz teach me
Not only does she have moves for weeks, that smile on her face, shows the love and happiness she has for dance. When I saw Lizzy stretching, I got a little embarrassed, realizing how out of shape I am!! I hope you book as many jobs, as YOU want, because you’ve earned it girl!!! Well done!! 🙏❤️
I agree, I can’t even touch my toes!! lol. She’s definitely an inspiration and seems so grateful for the opportunities she gets.🥰❤️
Now I’m not a doctor but as I watch this young lady stretch, dance and move so fluidly, there is no way her weight is a result from laziness & overeating, it has to be a thyroid issue. Anyone that mocks this young lady is just jealous that they are not only unable to move the way she does but they also don’t possess one eighth of her character.
Lizzy,
You have amazing energy & there’s such a bright light within you that you can see it in your eyes when you smile. Don’t stop doing what you’re doing , don’t second guess yourself , keep moving forward , don’t lose your smile and more importantly…Don’t let anyone dim your light or dull or shine!!!!
I'm glad people FINALLY start realising that talent and hard work comes in all shapes and sizes
Amen!!! 🙌
Now if only they could stop calling their fatshaming "concern for their health". Lizzy is clearly a fat girl who is healthy, there are many of us.
Sue Z exactly!! I am a chubby girl but I am absolutely healthy aside from some back issues. My doctor said all my blood work included my cholesterol and all the rest are in his words spectacular and better than most. I am not a smooth dancer or anything like that but I am a active and playful mom and aunt for the passed 16 years!
Also, size doesn’t define a person.
Yes!
As someone who's overweight, this girl has more strength and has to work so much harder to do what she's doing and anyone else who is trying to learn this dance. It's not just emotional, it's physical, it's hard to do, most of us that carry extra wait we don't have the flexibility, we have extra pain when we move and often times we can't do half the things that others can do. I commend this girl for following her dreams and her passion no matter her weight as unlike most people with the ideal body condition, this girl has had to work even harder to do the dance routines. She's beautiful both inside and out
True, but the truth remains that some of the pain and struggle would definitely been lessened if some of that extra weight had been lost. I don’t mean it in a derogatory or critical way, but from a purely pragmatic perspective - it would have been easier to dance and she wouldn’t be as tired if she reduced some of her food intake every day - a smaller plate perhaps, no buffets or fast food for a few months, or no snacks or soda except for a portion of fruit for a month or two, and she could be dancing for longer without getting tired easily. At the end of the day no amount of exercise can combat too much food.
@@3dprintinglady Are you talking about Lizzy or the OP of this post? Cuz I don't see Lizzy complaining about pain or tiredness or ANYTHING.
@@3dprintinglady dude shut up, her weight is medical. "I don't mean it in a derogatory or critical way' but then goes on to be derogatory and critical lmfaooo.
@@3dprintinglady I'm pretty sure she knows all that already. Let's just give her an applause for her effort, and not talking about her like we know her personal life.
@@3dprintinglady -- First, she needs a thorough endocrine work up to rule out Cushing's disease, PCOS, and other issues. Her body habitus suggests more than just simple obesity
And while a decrease in total caloric intake is also important, especially if what she has is PCOS/insulin resistance, it's not like she isn't going out and burning lots of kcals with her activity. The original poster is correct - it takes more energy just to move that amount of weight around in space, so she is burning more calories per minute than a thinner person does.
I am extremely impressed with her flexibility and her stamina.
Lizzy is a natural and was born to do this. I was so touched by your bond and how genuine you both are.
The transformation with her confidence is so amazing! We need more of this in the world! ❤
Brain?
Yes, we do! ❤
We so do ❤
Lizzy isn't just a girl who came out of her shell she is an inspiration to everyone who feels like they are hiding from what they want to do. She is the one in a million that are stepping up for all of us hiding in the shadows. We love you Lizzy! Thank you for showing us the rainbow you have inside of you it's truly wonderful! 🙏🏻💖
So beautifully put! Couldn't have said it better myself! *What a woman* 💯
She’s hiding because she’s fat and unhealthy. It’s being embarrassed
What an absolutely beautiful comment !! I pray she sees this ! ❤
That's a wonderful comment, and I appreciate it and I appreciate you for taking the time to be so positive!!
Thank you, thank you!!
Totally🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉 = ❤️ she's got great moves😊oh yea!!!!
I took bellydancing for 8 years and I can relate to those humiliating stares and side chats. People are insufferable. They criticize because you are fluffy and then criticize your choice of fitness because you are fluffy. It takes effort to tune them out and just do what you enjoy doing!
So the fact that its mostly men who watch belly dancers and we watch because of the six pack and aesthetically pleasing bodies 99% of those women have. in your mind is body shaming. Yet your 'Preferences' when you are looking for a man is not shaming in any way? Get off your damn high horse and take a deep breath of reality woman. you want to tell the truth then start with yourself and stop making excuses! The truth hurts sometimes.
You want to dance? Fine with me. noone is stopping you. more power to you for that matter, but don't expect others to conform to your thoughts on the matter because you feel hurt at what the may have said and what the standards might be.
❤
Were you able to capture footage I love supporting inspiring people 💜
@magsbayou Keep doing what you love!! You are POWERFUL, you are LOVED, you are APPRECIATED, you are an INSPIRATION!!
If we would spend less time paying attention to how people who don’t know you think or feel about you, we’d have more fun! Life’s too short for this nonsense! They ain’t paying my bills! 🇨🇦
People like this are often shunned - or feel too judged - when they get into the studio by others to stick it out and this one proved the value of commitment and dedication. Thank you! Put the haters to shame! But also, give a glimmer of challenge to those who give up too soon - on themselves. Dropped the gauntlet, Girl. More power to you.
Thank you for sharing your hope and your dream. May you experience even more success than you have already commanded. Your dreams are worth working for even if they seem far off. A year might seem like a long time, but I'm old, so I know - that year's gonna go by, whether you work hard at it or not. Only difference is, you'll be a year closer to obtaining your desire - or a year further behind. The choice is up to you. This girl proves it. From this day forward, the rest of your future is up to you.
Thank you for writing this. This helped me 😊
The smile on her face says it all! You go girl!
This recalls to my mind a quote I read once, "a comfort zone is a beautiful thing, but nothing ever grows there."
Wow, love that!
That's cool ✌️💕
Love this!
Devil's advocate: tea and blankets grow there :D perhaps on a tree, along with kora music, but i take your point! ✌️
There's no way she's ever comfortable. I get it now. People should be fat so that they are uncomfortable. That's the goal.
I graduated in 2012 with a performance degree. There is still such a stigma on performers with different body shape, size, abilities, and disabilities across all mediums and what they can bring. I am just getting back into dance after all this time and this is just the stuff to keep me going. YOU GO GIRL!
GO YOU AS WELL✨️🌟✨️🌙✨️🌙✨️🌙✨️🌙 You both are an inspiration ✨️
Awsome! This was so inspiring on so many levels. Thank you both for teaching us all several very important lessons about dance and life.
Thank you Lizzy for your authenticity and for having the courage to live in your happy place unapologetically! I hope you are immensely proud of yourself! You given me the inspiration to go seek my first class! Thank you for being a way-shower!!
I never get tired ofcwatching her transformation into a confident dance artist. She was always a dance artist, but her level of command over the whole room and the world is just so gratifying to see! Love ya, Lizzy! And you too, Matt!
Yes she is a big girl but boy she is so fit and a fabulous dancer
He isn't just a "Choreographer " he's an angel sent from heaven ❤️ She's a very brave woman and I hope she continues to follow her dreams , she's a great dancer
You CAN'T MISS the absolute joy on her face when she's dancing. That's her joy and it shouldn't be denied. Everyone should be so open to express themselves with such delight. 🥰
She is an incredible dancer! Thanks so much for sharing her story!
As a big girl myself.. I'm sooooo proud of you girl! You are truly living my dream!!! Never in a million years would I have the confidence or courage courage.. just didn't believe anyone would want to see me dance. Now I'm older and disabled but girl you truly make me want to dance with pride!!!! I could go on forever! Always be you! ❤
It’s not ‘big’ it’s ‘obese’. Why can’t people just be honest and say the truth? Your health is threatened by that much weight.
I am so incredibly happy this isn't a weight loss or beauty makeover video. She is gorgeous just the way she is and her new found confidence makes her glow even more.
Yes!
Well said hun! 💞💞💞
I have the greatest admiration for anyone who can memorize choreography and then deliver it well. She's fabulous! Her big smile is wonderful and what smooth moves!
That's random it didn't even occur to me that this video would have anything to do with weight loss or beauty...🤔
@@imnotthebabydaddy well that’s AWESOME for you 👏 but unfortunately a lot of videos DO involve that and I for one agree with the sentiment of the original commenter. That this was about ACCEPTING yourself & not being afraid to do what you love without giving into societies bullshit beauty ideals - ESPECIALLY if she’s living in the hellscape that is LA.
Try not turning something positive into a negative, that’d be reeeeal cooool
This honestly makes me feel like maybe I could dance and not let fear and insecurities stop me, cause my body is similar. I've gained alot of weight from meds and it destroyed my self esteem. But she looks beautiful and is talented and positive. So like...why couldn't I see myself that way too. Thank you for this video and love to her for inspiring people.
I’m a dancer teacher and gained three stone in medication weight and now I hate dancing coz I hate how my body feels now
It’s so annoying because people on the street assume I’m unfit etc but I’m actually probably fitter than them 😂
@@kirstycooper01 You may be fitter, but you’re letting them control your emotions, which is very unhealthy.
I’ve seen so many times when people assume others are looking at them or saying something about them, when it’s just not the case. We all look at each other as we go by, or stuck in a room etc, but it doesn’t mean people are judging you. Certain races start to feel the same way, they assume certain people don’t like them, or have certain feelings toward them when it’s not even the case at all. Don’t let that get in your way and ruin who you really are. Plus, don’t say you dislike your body, I work in Rehab here I see people who will never have the capacities you have , and that makes it difficult.
Don't waste your life for people that won't even give you a second of happiness, be there for yourself, be the best version of yourself, seek happiness, spread kindness. I believe you can do anything.
I’m wishing you could come to LA Dancefit here in Los Angeles which is the most inclusive and affirming studio .. you would have the best time!
Go Geminis go! You can totally have fun dancing. I know you can. Hello from Canada!
That's so awesome. I'm super happy for her. Thanks Matt for helping her stand proud and do what she loves. And thanks Lizzy for allowing your journey to be shared with the world. You're an inspiration ❤🎉
I love when people work harder instead of quitting… it’s beautiful that people who have achieved success help others… we need more of this!
She is just amazing. The way her body moves, the confidence she inspires…it’s not only beautiful and jaw dropping, but a desperately needed reminder that dance is about the beauty of the body - ANY and EVERY body - and dance is FOR every and any body ❤❤❤
SO beautifully said!
As someone whose inner being passions for dance (but whose day-to-day schedule doesn’t allow the time for me to dedicate myself to it), I absolutely LIVE for being witness to a person’s soul on fire whilst doing what they love with fervor and confidence.
I’m fascinated by ALL types of dance; from ballet to hip hop, from tap to swing. Lizzy absolutely lights UP when she’s dancing, and it’s such a heartwarming joy to see.
Props to her for refusing to let the preconceived notions of others about what a ‘real’ dancer should be keep her away from a passion that she was so clearly made for. ❤🥲
Agreed! She moves like a swan, gliding, even if there are rough seas. It’s magical to say the least! I’ve read she has health problems that affect her weight, but she dances better than most of the skinny bitches I’ve seen in the videos of high profile artists. Everyone on here is commenting on her weight, and I agree with the 10% worried about her long term health. However, I guarantee she’s healthier than most of the folks making comments! The only reason I’d like to see her lose weight (besides her health) is because she would be able to do MORE and most likely end up being one of the top dancers in the market today! I used to be a dancer, but now I’m 55 and disabled after a horrific car accident…this gives me joy watching her! ❤❤❤
Great words ❤❤😊
What moves 🤣
@@mandabean.2405 Really
As a plus size person who loved dance when I was young, this was amazing to see! It's been decades since I've danced because I've felt so self conscious, but to see how she lights up when she's dancing, it's just pure joy. Both of you are amazing. This was so, so inspiring!
As long as you have joint and muscle function, please don't let a thing like weight gain stop you from moving your body, even if you do it at home! Dancing to a rhythm is arguably something at the heart of what makes us human. It has an uplifting (and sometimes unifying) effect and can bring on lovely endorphins!
YES! SHE is AMAZING! It’s unfortunate that people can be so cruel & NOT EVEN try to put their self in someone else’s shoes! Lizzy IS an inspiration to SO many people!
Wow what an energised and mesmerising young woman .. wish I cld move like that..And that smile as she enjoys her moves... great dancer but greater inspiring person ... lead on Lizzy n keep sharing what ya got !
This is your life, live it now! Get out there and dance girl!
How do i join his lessons
I have followed Lizzy for YEARS. Some people are only seeing a year transformation with this but this video genuinely made me cry happy tears. She has come so far and she is an amazing person. I'm proud of you Lizzy❤️
I remember watching Lizzy's story and was in awe of the confidence she already had and the courage to go after her dream. A year later watching this and my heart is soaring for her! (Insert standing ovation gif here!) I think it's time to find my courage and stand up and dance with you guys. Thank you 🩷
Love this Matt.
Thanks Kyle, appreciate you
They’re both awesome. Love Lizzy ❤️
Lizzy is SUCH a talented dancer and always absolutely SHINES when she's dancing! This is such a joy to see!
But who would hire her at that weight....most dancers have a similar look when on stage.
She starts her own group … she is so supple… looks amazing dancing … she’s got it!
YOU GO GIRL! YOU ARE AMAZING AND SO INSPIRATIONAL TO SO MANY PEOPLE OUT THERE DEALING WITH BULLYING, SELF DOUBT, AND SO MUCH MORE BUT WATCHING YOU GET TO WHERE YOUR AT TODAY GIVES SO MANY THAT PUSH, THAT WISDOM THAT THEY CAN ACCOMPLISH ANYTHING THEY PUT THEIR MINDS & THEIR HEARTS TO. KEEP GETTIN IT GIRLY! YOU ROCK!!!!!
I one hundred percent agree that it was so wonderful to see the transformation be about her confidence and how she feels about herself, not her size and how others feel about it. I’m sorry you had to experience any bullying Lizzy. I am a woman who has thought/ worried about her weight shape for years. I just competed in and took first place in a natural bodybuilding competition at the age of 52. I still don’t have the confidence you do. You shine from within. You inspire. I have always loved to dance and have often joke, I. My next life I am coming back as a back up dancer. Your living it! Be proud, take up/command your space and enjoy every minute!
I danced in the early 2000's and did not fit the body image that people in the dance world wanted back then. It didn't matter that I had the passion or technique, no one could look past what my body looked like. I had dreams to dance professionally but I was constantly laughed at and reminded often that I would never work in the industry because I was too big. I stopped dancing years ago and miss it every single day. Thank you for encouraging her. I hope that she dances for many, many more years to come. I'm so happy to see that the dance world has become a more inclusive place!
So you gave up on your dreams for cake?
@@LeekowalskiWalker cant lack more empathy :D congrats
@@CrazySeiChan It could be either way. Obviously if the person has a medical condition of some kind or a metabolism issue or is just too "wide" in terms of bone structure, of course you can and should! have empathy because they were discriminated against for something out of their control that prevented them from living out their dream. If the person was overweight due to just a simple diet-related issue, the criticism is justified. You can't blame the world and everyone else for not achieving what you wanted in life if your only obstacle were poor diet choices.
Thank you for sharing Brianne, and I'm really sorry to hear that you stopped. Would love to hear more about your story, is there an e-mail I can reach you at?

How can anyone bully her? Shes so talented and she has a great personality! I would love to have her as a friend and go on the dance lessons just to watch and support her, cheer her on and tell her how great shes doing because shes truly talented and has that passion for dancing ♥
people bully Linnea what there jealous about or what they fear when you show strength and confidence it brings ugly out in people. I was her size in high school PE teacher would not let me play Vollyball because of my size. I would not have the stamina to play a full game. My parents had to go to school board called out body shaming on PE teacher. I got to play instead of sitting on the bleachers doing book work.
@@dominquepreston7065 I know bullies exist. The "How can anyone bully her?" is more to say "How can anyone bully her out of their own insecurities, following blindly what everyone else does, following the current talk and whats-hot when it comes to body size and body shape when more then often theyre impossible to reach and without forming your own opinion on it, standing up for yourself and saying no to bullying?"

She deserves this and more. Lizzy is the very reason I went back to dancing. Thank you, from the bottom of my heart.
Love this story!!! Lizzy has a megawatt smile that can light all of LA in a blackout.
She is such a passionate, profound dancer, and it has nothing to do with appearance, she has energy in her blood and life in her veins, and her confidence is invigorating. Thank you for showing us a transformation, centered around confidence, rather than the narrative being centered around weight loss or gain.
Lizzy is literally one of my favorite dancers that I got to learn about through Matt. Her and Bailey Sok are my faves.
She is natural...
She has it in her!
She's AWESOME!!!
I‘m actually so impressed how she went from a ballet dancer to a hip-hop dancer. I danced ballet my whole child- and teenagehood and for me it‘s so fricking hard to learn hip hop or sth like this because I struggle to „let go“ and not be so stiff. She did that so well!
I love watching Lizzy dance, she is very inspiring & has a strong message that anyone can fulfill their dream no matter what their situation is!
Her fluidity and natural talent and ability is amazing! What a beautiful young woman

@@LeekowalskiWalker people can be overweight and still be healthy! i have a medical issue which causes me to put on weight easily doesnt mean im not healthy people just cant look past the size yes being OBESE can lead to issues but theres a difference between obese and overweight dont judge when you know nothing about the person
@@angelwindeler4134 yeah it is. She needs to lose weight
@@LeekowalskiWalker It isn't always that simple. You know nothing of their circumstances. I could say you need to learn the definition of empathy, but it would just be wasted on you. So easy for people to say whatever without thinking of the hurt they cause.
Thank you for helping her gain more confidence. She’s beautiful. Her eyes and smile…I love seeing her progress.
Love you Lizzie. Never give up. Someday you should have your own dance school. Your an inspiration
How dare people bully her and others.
What an inspiration !!
Dancing isn't all about weight, but rather about flexibility and stamina. I've seen several big ppl that dance like gods! Nice job girl! 👏👏👏
I'm not rhythmic at all. I've tried over the yrs (even tried out for step in college lol). But, I have learned that it's all about catching your own beat and just enjoying yourself and letting go. Had a "dance party " a couple of nights ago w the hunny and acted silly. Both us needed it and it felt AMAZING. Playlist was key hahhaha
Thus comment should be highlighted. You hit the nail on the head exactly. 👏👏👏 Lizzy is fantastic. The girl has rhythm, style, class, enthusiasm, stamina, flexibility, musicality and moves. I don’t know if she has the creativity though, we’ve only seen her copy and learn moves.
But to me, everything i’ve described is what a dancer should be.
I CANNOT LOVE THIS MORE!!! I have showed this video to so many people! LIZZY is an awesome dancer, her smile is so authentic. The look of happiness on her face warms my heart so much!! YOU, MATT.......This makes us love you even more!!!
I've watched her dance before, she clearly has a gift. Shown moves once and she just has a knack of mastering them instantly. I think she's amazing. She doesn't dance to the music, she makes the music dance. Wonderful.
i'm not a dancer but her movements are really smooth and she keeps up so well with him. she has great energy and looks so happy while dancing. there's absolutely no shade meant by this, but the fact that her movements are so smooth with the extra weight is especially impressive!
I was thinking that, too. Every movement requires more strength than smaller people. She's an amazing dancer and so brave!
I weighed 285 lbs at 15 years old.. I could do the splits better than cheerleaders at my school, I could out run everyone, I was taking tae kwon do with my brothers, I was so much like her. But ridicule is hard. Now I am 61 years old, and at 5 ft 3 in
this past year I have gotten on a scale at 127 lbs. I am so happy I have followed her on her journey. You go girl!!
@@carlacowell7580, YOU go girl!
Look, I watched a UA-cam short of her a few weeks ago, and I’ve been in awe ever since.
Lizzy is quite simply out of this world fantastic!
Her energy, she crackles with power and just pure fun!
You can see her love of dancing by the joy on her face as she moves. YOU put that there. YOU accepted her as she is and helped and encouraged her along her journey to keep going. As she got more and more positive feedback from you she started believing in herself.
She absolutely glows now ❤
She’s fun to watch because she’s not the typical dancer! Such joy and energy, she is wonderful 😊
"I don't know how to react when I get things..." I felt that
1 year of hard work and dedication that paid off, happy for her
Her smile is sunshine...great dancer hard work pays off...confidence has grown tremendously....Inspirational
She can be such an inspiration to so many many others who feel they need to hide because they are not super thin, perfect on the outside does not mean perfect on the inside you are an icon girl brings tears to my eyes
She is a great dancer! There are so many model looking people out there, who neither feel the rythm, nor have the plasticity and fluidity in their movements. This girl has it all! Simply gorgeous ❤❤❤
But that end pose was beyond fierce. I can't figure out how to quantify how much I instantly love this young woman. So excited to see more of her. Joy shines through me when I see her dance.
I think that it is so beautiful of what you are doing for her. You are seeing her on the inside and on the outside, what a truly beautiful, amazing, talented person that she is. People need to stop judging on what people look like on the outside, and realize, that all people are beautiful no matter what. Lizzy, just by watching this video, you have inspired me to continue to reach for my goals, and I am so proud of you that you are reaching yours. Stay strong, and always remember that you are beautiful no matter what💝!
Matt thank you for giving us Lizzy!!!! She really feels the music and is a natural and you fine tuned her!!!
Go Lizzy!!!! I always wanted to be a hip hop dancer! I was always told I couldnt dance. Regardless, I would practice & get the moves down. When I hit record & looked back on it, being overweight myself, I HATED how I looked. I completely gave up. I'm so happy that you did not let the bullying stop you from doing what you love. The smile on your face when you're dancing is priceless!
dont give up! proud of you for the progress you made

You sound like you have amazing spirit. When you have a dream, nobody should stop you. Absolutely nothing and nobody. Regardless of your age and where you are in life, I urge you to pursue again. It is never too late and I am sure you are fantastic. Go for it!
There have been so many things in life I really wanted to do but didn't because they weren't things that big ppl do (in my mind I thought fat=incapable). But Lizzie is so inspiring to me because she's a big girl like me but she is ROCKING those moves! This has inspired me to stop limiting myself and to get out of my comfort zone. Thank you so much!
🤩💯💫 You've got rhythm KID 👍♥
YOU GO GIRL!!!!! ❤❤❤❤
It seems that we all shame ourselves far too much for being imperfect whether physically or emotionally 😞 and we need to stop it!!
I follow a lot of these inspirational threads and the inspiration is truly helping me change, for that I'm truly grateful for all of you brave souls out there helping us all to grow by learning to love ourselves just as we are. 💕
Nope! Just think, many of the "thin"....lack the honesty and humility to admit their 'secret habits' of anorexia, orthorexia, bulimia, etc. You can, should and will. GO!!!! :) I was the "chunkiest" zumba instructor, taught between nursing shifts, and I was prided on being the highest energy (with out caffeine too :) ), most passionate and my classes were filled :) Do it.
Yes, thank you for saying that! I have been the same way, too.
I got out of my chair and started free-form moving while watching these videos.
Lizzy is an inspiration for, well, probably anyone, especially for those of us of great size.
In tears! Absolutely love this! She’s so beautiful and I love her confidence, wish I could be strong like her and let me add that Matt you being to put yourself out there for her which she definitely deserves, loooooove all of this!
What an amazing man for giving this lady the confidence to follow her passion. She has certainly put those bullies in their place. She,s definitely a dancer. Here in the UK we had a group of elderly rotund ladies called the Roly Polies and they could dance and were quite popular.
She looks SO happy when she’s dancing! 💗
Such a beautiful woman with an AMAZING personality and hella dance skills!!! She has more confidence than I will EVER have to dance in front of people!! She will go far! Keep it up Lizzy!! 💕
She needs to take her skills and start a class , for others .. like Whitney did on TLC
@@tammytilley6051 ABSOLUTELY!! She is on point!!! 🔥 🔥 🔥
I love that you, Matt care so much about your students! Love so much that Lizzy has found her calling and she’s not backing down! I only wish I could learn those moves! I’m going on 62 and would love to chase my dream of dancing awesome moves❤
You deserve every happiness in the world…you are strong and you will go far.
I follow Lizzy on IG, and her energy makes me smile from ear to ear. This 61 year old woman is so inspired by her. I began the dance at 3 years old, and have not stopped since. Matt, I am thankful that your channel found me! 🙏🏽
What is her name?
So I can her follow on utube
Lizzy is incredible. I couldn't look away from her dancing. It's magical! I hope she never gives up on herself and keeps going.
Hi, i'm Akio, from Venezuela. I suffered from severe depression, I hated myself, I lost strength little by little. She showed me that I can draw strength from deep within and overcome my limitations. Thank you for existing!
You go, girl ! been watching her journey, and I just love how confident she has become. Shes an awesome dancer .
She is bolt proof that no matter what you look like or what this world throws at you. You can still make it and become the individual you deserve and want to be. Her motivation is extraordinary and shows strength. She’s a great dancer and she just keeps getting better and better! I love this!!!! ❤️🦋
I could watch Lizzy all day long, its so obvious she IS a dancer, its in her blood, every move is just "her". Truly changing the face of dance for me. Love Matt and his true appreciation of a talented artist - giving confidence , friendship and opportunities.
She is lovely...inside and out. She will inspire so many who have to overcome bullying to become confident in who they are. She's proving that not everyone can have a ballerina figure but everyone can be a ballerina if they want to be. Her smile is her most powerful weapon.
